The media could not be loaded. I didn't realise when I built my daughter a computer that the monitor didn't have speakers. I wanted to get some basic speakers that didn't cost the earth. I came across these Amazon Basics speakers. I can't believe how cheap they were and to be honest I wasn't expecting much from them. How wrong was I! The first thing I noticed is that they have a nice weight to them and the build quality is great. They don't feel cheap at all. There is a nice shiny finish on to top of them and down the back. They are good looking speakers. The photos and video attached are showing the speakers connected to my laptop for the purpose of trying them out. The volume can be controlled through the online controller on the speaker cable or through Windows itself. I also love the blue light around the bottom of each speaker which is a nice touch. These speakers can go quite loud, to be honest I didn't want to push them to much. The sound is clear and I didn't notice any distortion. They could have more bass but I couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you are after some cheap, well made, nice sounding, good looking pc speakers look no further. Hope this review helps?

These are simply excellent speakers for the price. I listen to a lot of classical music as I work at my laptop and I wanted something a bit better than the inbuilt speakers. I didn't want to spend a fortune as I already have a decent music system. But these Amazon basics speakers aren't that basic. The sound quality is great, they look good and don't take up much room on the small desk I have in my sitting room. The inline volume control is genius, as I don't have to faff around on the laptop and interrupt my writing to change the volume. I have no issues with giving these 5 stars. They're brilliant.

For the price cannot go wrong, they are great speakers with good quality sound, they work well on my PS5 and monitor.Only thing is it would be better if the max volume was louder but its perfectly fine in a small room and loud enough where you don't need to have it on max anyways. They also look very good in a set up

Absolutely fabulous for a 'Basics' product and a really good price. As someone else has already commented, they are anything BUT basic, Unpack, plug in and off you go. They make the sound amazing. Currently going through my faves on youtube music, later I will be listening to my Itunes, then at some point in the future, my cd's. It's a good job I work only in school term times!!The only fault I've found so far, bearing in mind they were only delivered about 15 minutes ago, is that they are not marked L & R but I'm sure it won't take me long to work it out.Ooh, I have loads of DVD's which will be a lot more interesting to watch/listen to as well.Well done Amazon, top marks for coming up with these.

Another overwhelmingly solid, functional product from amazon "basics"The build quality is solid, product small yet weighty.The sound is phenomenal for such a small set, it is a wired set, maybe there will be a Bluetooth set, I do not know, for me I always prefer solid connections.Their low size males their profile and desk usage minimal, the blue glow they emit isn't strong and though shiny, they don't look cheap.My suggestion for Amazon themselves, remove the inner plastic bags from the product, it isnt necessary, the box provides plenty of protection and stability.

Very good value for money. Didn't expect them to sound great but they sound fairly decent. Only issue with them is that they do not have an on / off switch, so the blue lights are always on throughout the night.
