I bought this to repair a couple of small rips in a nylon jacket. The color was much lighter than it appeared in the picture, but I used it anyway. Cutting was not easy due to the thinness of the material. Very sharp scissors were necessary. Once cut, it was difficult to find an edge from where to peel off the backing. Once removed, it took me a couple of attempts with different pieces to keep it from folding over on itself and to get it applied. That too was due to the thinness of the nylon patch. Once on, it has seemed to hold and to protect the tear. I will however look for a patch made of thicker nylon fabric.

My dad ripped his nice down coat on something - so needed to patch it up somehow. This is the only patch I could find in navy… and while it’s not a perfect match - it still looks pretty good!It was also really easy to do! I cleaned the area with some rubbing alcohol then cut a piece of the patch - and just stuck it on! I also gave it a blast of heat with the hairdryer & rubbed over the edges really good just to make sure it adhered well. Took about 2 minutes in total.It was easy to do and feels nice and flexible. My dad was super happy with the end result. Just hope it holds up!

I have a down coat that had a tear in it. I decided to give these patches a try. I patched the torn area and then washed the coat. I even dried it in the dryer. When I examined the coat afterwards, I couldn't find where I had patched it. Lol. It was as if there was never a tear in the coat at all. This product really works!

I tore a sleeve of my winter coat during the last New York snowstorm and turned to Amazon for a solution. This product is inexpensive and it works really well. I cut out a large rectangle and stuck it over the tear in my coat and it looks really neat. I doesn't peel or anything, stays in place. I highly recommend this product, though it 's nothing fancy, it works well.

Really worked well. A little technique sensitive, but after a trial run you get the hang of it.

Very hard to find a way to separate backing from patch. Patch stuck to itself so easily I had to throw it away. Could used some instructions.

Backing comes with perforation and the paper can be removed and paste easily. Used on jacket arms. Very satisfied

These patches are perfect for light or nylon material. The repair was on a costume with a fan, so the patch needs to work or the air would come out. I was thrilled to see the patches worked perfectly. My only complaint was taking the fabric off the paper backing, near impossible. It needs a crease or something to expose piece of the patch to grab.
