We love this brand of mechanical pencil! I will say it should be called shimmer and not sparkle. The barrell is shiny and pretty, but has no glitter in it. That was def not a deal breaker for us, but if you want sparkley just know that. Great purchase with 24 pencils in!

My daughters go through these like crazy because they are not careful with their pencils. These are cheap but work very well. The lead doesn’t break easily and they are very functional. These are definitely a better buy than the $8 special mechanical pencils. My kids leave them laying around whether they are 25¢ or $8, so I’d rather they be cheaper!

I’ve always loved BIC mechanical pencils, and this pack didn’t disappoint. They write smoothly, last a long time, and the sparkly design is such a cute bonus — it adds a little personality to my pencil case. They’re perfect for school or everyday writing.One thing to note: the plastic barrel is a bit flimsy and can snap if you’re not careful, especially if you tend to grip tightly or toss them in your bag. It hasn’t been a huge issue for me, but it’s worth mentioning.Even with that downside, they’re still a great value for the price, and I’ll definitely be buying more.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price was right on this set of mechanical pencils. My kids ages 5-12 years wanted their own mechanical pencils and it worked well to allocate 2 colors to each kid. They work well and were cheaper here than in stores.
