I learned crochet from a very American neighbor. All of the stitch instructions and hook sizes were very precise. That said, this hook set is SO great for the price! The sizes are only in metric. Okay! Learn a little bit of crochet conversion and enjoy the pretty colors of these aluminum hooks while you work up your projects. I've been using them since they were delivered and I find no drag, snags, or pull in these hooks. I like them very much. And such a variety! I use the tiniest hook to pull out snags in fabric and that is a great plus!

Great product. Very smooth metal from tip/hook to "imprint" (where held). This is important. If the hook has the slightest imperfection, it will "catch" on your work. Not sure what "pouch" was supposed to be. Came in cheap plastic bag which I ripped when I opened the package.

Good value however did not receive the pouch that was in description.

Great value for what you pay! I have been crocheting on and off for years but I do consider myself a beginner. These are perfect hooks for me. Comes in many different sizes and has a convenient case which is wonderful. Very happy with my purchase.

well, they are light weight and they did arrive before the projected date but again it's proven, you get what you pay for!! They have burrs on them that snag on the yarn, they are far from smooth and definitely a waste of money. This set will likely end up at a thrift store!! I purchased then based on the 'reviews' however, now I'm not quite sure if those reviews were truly authentic. I will be more cautious next time.

When I opened the padded envelope these came in two of the hooks were slightly bent at the thumb indention. They are very lightweight and feel flimsy to me. At the same time I ordered these I also ordered another inexpensive set sold by Panda Town. Those hooks arrived 2+ week faster and their overall feel is stronger, more substantial. I will recommend Panda Town over these hooks any day.

so the bad the crotchet hooks came in, already had a tear on the bottom and the packaging was enormous for a little item, but nevertheless, the hooks work great and all 12 were delivered safely!
