Q: does the prongs hold up well? do they get out of shape after opening and closing a few times?

They seem to hold up well. However, I don't open and close them that often.

Q: Are these guaranteed to be red?

No. I ordered a 3 pack of red and received a multi colored pack with no red. I had to send back and re order. I had to do this twice with two different colors.

Sturdy folders

These folders are plastic. I love the variety of colors that they offer. These folders don’t rip like the cardboard ones do. They last all school year. It has a pocket in the front and in the back. Three prongs allow for papers to be organized. Best folder for kids.
