Work very well. Great picture
Here is my testimonial after almost 3 years of ownership. Had the wiring run when my house was being built so I did not have to deal with that. Previous house had wireless cameras and they were a pain. Wired is the way to go. Software interface is a bit clunky, hence I am investigating an update. Picture quality is very good at default setting, but if I want to look at something in particular, I can easily switch it to HD mode and the picture is very clear. Nite vision is actually very good. When the grandkids come over, they always want to see whats on the cameras. The phone/tablet app works very well for that regard. The PC app also works well in my office. Use the cameras all the time to investigate what that sound was I just heard outside or to check the sky for weather. Have used them several times to provide video to law enforcement when they request info for specific times and dates when something has happened (car stolen from neighbors house in the early morning hours, etc). Overall, great product, good value, great price.

I'm not so sure if delivers price wise is good
After 2 hours of fiddling with the set.I like the system but I got into a few problems. The quality of the cameras feels good.Good aluminum body.Quality of the image is good (daylight) unable to check at night yet system is not installedAfter first boot up the system works flawlessly after a few min the RGB when south (check pic) HDMI color goodThe DVR unit is good but the space to install the HDD is small and I have problems installing it (see pics) the power cord for the HDD is too short.I have to install in different orientation de HDD the holes in the case don't match the HDD case so is hold just by 1 screw i can put more but I have to make holes in the case. One of the wires came defective I have to wiggle to make good connection is not at the metallic connector is at the rubber part that fail .Software is good a lot of settings I'm a handy guy technically inclined but the software is too much for my brain for now to handle.Few things I can't make it work (my fault) I didn't have the time to connect to the internet yet.The RC is not good I have to point straight to the box otherwise will not work and the distance maybe 3-5 feet not more.Another thing catch my attention after 30 min of operation the CPU gets hot 122-123 Fahrenheit degrees (with the box open) I don't know how long is going to last the unit before conk out.The aluminum cooler is too small needs a bigger better one the unit is fan less (sorry for the fuzzy pic)I will update this review as I go deeper into the system keep in touch!!Ok after 2 days of use unable to get this thing to get connected to the internet for remote view.Is a royal pain to make it work MANUAL IS POOR AS IS BEST thanks you tube!!!Another thing one of the cameras is getting a fuzzy pic 3 cams work fine but one already is giving trouble (yes I check the wire)Went down one star From 3 to 2) due to more setup complications.More updates will be posted Will be postedOk new update after maybe 2 years?Ok first things firstI didn't installed the cameras right away it took at least to setup them about 8 months after I bought them (sorry I'm a lazy fat nurse)The box is working flawlessly software wise is ok is a learning curve I'm a nurse not a camera guy is a lot of settings I'm still having a low understanding about them but is my fault (I deserve a 1 star for my poor performance).Cameras they are sturdy and look good 2 already fail I forgot to take a pic from the first one but this one fail 2 days ago see the picI paid at that time $165.99 now the price for the same set is $ 90.99If you get them to work good I think is a good investment they are ok for the price but if the fail like in my case is a bad investment I don't expect stellar performance for price but I wish they work longer.

It was easy to install
The DVR was small and lightweight. Everything you need to access port wise is all on the back and well labeled. It did not come with a hard drive and I bought a WD 2TB surveillance drive (Purple Drive) for this DVR. It was easy to install, recognized the drive and formatted it in a few minutes. For the most part, you just followed the Quick Start guide steps and I had video displayed very shortly. My main problem with this DVR was trying to set up Motion Detection. The software was simple enough to start with, but trying to get the DVR to pick up on motion consistently over several days was difficult. I was finding a lot was missed and then even more so at low light levels. I finally gave up and went with scheduled time capture. For my outdoor cameras that just meant constant record. My indoor camera I set to record late night when all were asleep. That has done me well.My second problem occurred after having the DVR run constantly for about 45 days. I went to move the mouse to log in and could not do anything. Recording looked like it was taking place and the video on the cameras was changing, but I could not control anything. I had to power off the unit two times to get control back. Now I have decided to schedule a reboot of the DVR at the 1st of every month to try and keep that from happening again.Otherwise I have had no issues with this DVR or software. The 2 TB hard drive holds a lot of video with the H264 compression. The remote software for the PC will connect to the DVR. I did not realize though that you actually have to make an account on the ZOSI website and connect to it, and the server then connects to the DVR. I am not a big fan of that, but it may be more secure for your network as only that server connects even though the DVR allows quite a few possible users.

Does what I expect it to do
This is my 3rd ZOSI system. I have a few properties that require security monitoring. I'm familiar with Zosi systems and their software is easy enough for me to use. I bought this POE system back in Jan. The HD failed after about 4-5 months. I didn't know about it (I wish the system had a warning about HD failures) until I needed to rewind and check on an event. Without the HD, it can only show you what is going on live. I contacted support. They had me do some standard troubleshooting. Long story short, they confirmed it was the HD problem. Gave me a $50 credit on Amazon to use towards a new HD to replace on my own. I have enough technical skills to do that so it wasn't a problem. Overall, it's a system that is reasonably priced and the tech support is responsive. I will continue to buy another Zosi system if the need arises again.
