Secure gate, easy install and stowage
We bought this system (walls bought separate) to make sure our grandkids don't accidently fall in our above ground pool. It definitely improves the safety of our deck just in case we're not watching. The gate can conveniently be taken down for the winter when the pool is safely covered. Good value.Installation notes:>This item is meant to be installed in concrete, but I located the posts above my desk joists and it worked just fine.>I used a little WD-40 to lubricate the plastic sleeves before tapping them in (I bent the first couple). The sleeve is snug in a wood hole (other option is to upsize the drill bit). Otherwise, installation was easy.>Gate locks well - it comes with a key lock if you need it, but toddlers will not be able to open it with the unlocked closure.>Good quality metal construction.

First gate arrived incomplete.
The first gate we received with the fencing, arrived incomplete. Pieces were missing, places where there was supposed to be predrilled holes and hardware, there was nothing. Directions were for a completely different type of gate. We boxed the gate back up, reordered another one since we had most of the fencing up already, and needed it. And took the incomplete gate to a ups store to be shipped back to get our refund. That all happened on Sept 11th. Today is Sept 28th, they have received the gate but we have yet to get our nearly $500 refund for the defective gate. The second gate that arrived was perfect. All hardware was included. All predrilled holes were complete also. Gate and fence work great, and it is keeping our granddaughters safe. We tried to reach out to the company prior to sending back the first gate, but the phone number that Amazon gave us, was never answered, and the mailbox was full so we could not leave a message. And our email went unanswered. Terrible customer service from the company. Only took 1 star off for that headache because the final result is a very nice fence/gate that does it’s job, was simple to install in a day, and keeps our grandchildren safe. Priceless and worth many stars.

Wow, worst customer service EVER
On June 5, I ordered a pool safety gate, including the automatic closing gate from water warden. After the pool was ready, we installed the fence, but realized quickly that the gate had come with absolutely no parts at all, including the hinges or the safety latch. I should’ve returned it immediately to Amazon, but it was recommended that I try to reach out to the company first to see if they could send replacement parts. I thought I was doing them a favor by not returning it to Amazon. So I tried to contacting the company directly. I got a hold of a customer service agent called Jacqueline Sherard. Miss Sherard emailed me a few times asking for new details each time such as photographs and a list of items that I had not received. I explained kindly to her that I didn’t have a list of things that I didn’t receive because how could I know what I didn’t get? She told me that I needed to respond to the email with a list of the part numbers that I was missing. In between each email that I received it would take her 4+ days to respond. In the meanwhile, my return window closed through Amazon so now I’m out over $300 for a gate that came with no parts and I’ve had to order an entirely new gate.I’m not sure what’s happening through Amazon, but I think that people are ordering the gates and taking the parts and then returning them. Water warden should be ashamed of their customer service. I absolutely do not recommend using this company.

What a pain to put together
It works... but the instructions are incomplete and actually skip steps... I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to properly put it together.

Sturdy!
If you’re going to install this yourself plan to use ALOT of concrete drill bits! Overall the fence is nice easy to install once the holes are drilled, paper guides help a lot!

Hard to install, difficult to adjust
The gate itself seems sturdy enough. Other reviews have called it flimsy, but I don't agree with that. However, as others have noted, the instructions for this gate are terrible, and they don't even list all the parts that should be in the box. There are instructions for the gate itself, and also for the hinges and the lock, which are all separate, and even in their own separate bags. This is quite confusing. The company needs to redo this and create a single instruction sheet. Also, the lock is terribly inconvenient to install. I managed to do it, but it took me over an hour. Those parts (see pictures) should come preinstalled, not doing so isn't just lazy, it's pure maliciousness. Also, as others have noted, there is no connection from the gate to the fence. The 5' gate seems to come with hooks, but the 4' gate doesn't, it's just completely separate. I ended up tying a string to pull in the fence and stabilize the gate a little.Lastly, it's hard to get the gate to line up with the lock. The gate posts are quite wobbly, not just forward and backward but also sideways, which impacts lining up the gate to the lock. In the end, I got this to line up for now by making the string that ties the gate post to the fence just the right length, but this doesn't seem like a permanent solution. I will probably have to realign the gate over and over again. My gate now closes and is functionally okay, but as you can see on the picture, the gate posts are still not parallel, so it looks awkward. If I had to redo this, I would choose a gate where the two posts are somehow connected, either at the bottom or from an arch at the top.
