LS crank pulley puller
This puller is great, it was able to break the pulley loose no problem. I highly recommend it. I have seen many bad reviews on this product but but I think it’s user error. My advise is put a dab grease on each end of the rod so it allows it to turn under pressure and not cause it to bend or get stuck. Very happy with this purchase.

2004 Didge Neon. It worked perfectly. Great buy
The space rods included were the right size. The puller for rent that is made for the Neon does not have the right length spacer rods, go figure. If you need one for this car buy this one

Ls engines
This product is worth the money no doubt, I give it a 4/5 due to bending a pin or 2 but, I was using on a high mileage 6.0

Super puller
The media could not be loaded. I love this puller, a low profile puller that make self centering easy and if you ever worked on cars, you know that you don't want to damage the threads on the inside of your crankshaft. Great tool.

Needs work
The attached picture shows maximum engagement on an LS2 crank pulley/damper. Not enough. I will have to grind the jaws to fit better. I am fine with modifying or making tools, but the need to do so gets the manufacturer a low rating. For those interested, I measured the hardness of a jaw.. it was around 40 rockwell C. It is up there....I am concerned about it just cracking when used after grinding to fit. It seems needlessly hard, like QC of heat treatment is poor. Will update this review after trying that, but it doesn't fit as delivered.Interesting note- this looks like a copy of the OTC tool. That's OK, and the price is much better, they might even come from the same place. And, looking closely at the OTC, the notch in the jaws looks to be the same shape exactly, so I would probably have the same complaint about it. But, this review is about the Orion Motor Tech one that I did order. An update. I milled (rather than grinding) all 3 jaws together, so that they would be the same. They seemed fairly hard while cutting, but no problem. The puller then did the job, jaws did not Crack. As with all tools that use a screw to apply force, lubricate the threads! I like motorcycle chain lube or open gear lube for this, either thickens up and stays put. It is aggravating to read reviews containing complaints of thread galling. So, it worked, but took changes to make it work. So, 2 stars. Too bad GM didn't bother to drill/tap the pulley so any old puller would work!

Very sturdy & strong, needs a longer rod for some engines
The puller is very sturdy & stiff & was able to pull the crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer that my old universal kit couldn't. The kit comes with 2 rods to insert in the hole in the crank & neither one of them were long enough to pull the pulley from the 4 cylinder Chrysler engine on which I was working. There are other kits with a third, longer rod but they were back ordered. The threaded bolt on the puller has a 30mm internal hole that uses up a lot of the rod.At first the bolt bottomed out on the crankshaft. I ended up putting a cap head screw in the hole in the threaded shaft of the puller to shorten the length & the pulley pulled straight off.
