Q: Does this work with AGM batteries?

Hi there, I have one of these (and various other Ctek chargers) and can confirm that it does work perfectly with AgM and EFb batteries too, takes a little longer (ie approx 5~10mins) to boost start a car but don’t forget this isn’t a dedicated boost starter, and therefore doesn’t damage the plates in your battery either by chucking power in at an uncontrolled rate (plenty of cheap Joe-China products available if that’s what you want), this is a finely tuned Swiss engineered power bank/trickle charger and emergency starter. Upshot, definitely worth every penny.

Q: Would there be an issue if the unit was connected as a portable device and the charger depletes of power whilst still connected to the battery

There shouldn't be. Like most rechargeable units, best to fully charge the unit as soon as possible and keep it fully charged if not used for a length of time.

Q: Does the existing orange end connectors on all ctek trickle charger accessories fit the orange connector on the ctek cs free?

The CTEK CS Free's orange connector plugs directly into the body of the charger; the CTEK MXS 5.0 orange male connector plugs into a latched female socket on the end of the charging cable. See the diagrams on Amazon product pages.

The CTEK free has crocodile clips so I’d imagine could connect if you have separate positive and negative eyelets connectors?
