I ordered this item& it arrived the next day, like all new equipment you read instructions to properly familiarize yourself on how to use said device, I did! I have a webcam in my living room, I turned up the dial to just at the point of sensitivity below threshold of detection in the room & I pretty much had to touch the webcam to get a reaction even if I dialed up the knob for more sensitivity I get false readings!
