Q: Are these denso (4709) iw20tt spark-plugs delivered "pre-gapped" to the customer?

As in any spark plug (SP) user, you should always check the gap. The same SP could be used in different engines and/or applications. So, BE EXTRA CAREFUL GAPPING these SP because the center electrode is .040 in dia. Will snap off very easily. I put them in a vice with vg light and carefully gap to what I need. I use non-nickel anti-seize on the threads whether the heads are aluminum or CI. Torque to factory specs. Good luck

Great for a GeneRac GP5500 ...

After using Denso's iridium tt plugs in my truck and van and getting great results. I found a TT plug with the proper reach, thread and heat range for my GeneRac GP5500, Denso (4709) IW20TT Iridium TT. Really easy starting, very stable with varing loads. You will know you are using a TT plug the first instant the engine starts because it sounds slightly different.

All Denson TT plugs are the absolute hands down best...... you will notice a big difference. It gets better and better. It will start burning cleaner...... I now put them in everything.

So Much For Customer Service

I bought a set of top-of-the-line spark plugs for my VW Vanagon as recommended by their website. When I went to install them, I couldn't remove the electrode ends as required to install them on any old VW. I attempted to contact Denso through their website, and have not heard anything for two weeks. I guess spending $29.00 for a set of 4 plugs is not enough to merit a reply. Their contact page didn't list a phone number, but I finally found a phone number of a plant in Ohio, who I will call Monday.
