It’s not glass but it does have a plastic cover so no you can’t touch the hands

I have the orange one and I’d say it’s cream / off white as opposed to bright white. I love my clock.

Mine is on my kitchen wall. If I stand right under it I can hear a low tick but I cannot hear it at all in the room. I love my clock
