Feels to be sturdy enough as far as holding trash and the trash men empties it ok. I purchased as trash company was always owing my lid or pulling wheels off or cracking the sides of my other trash cans. This one is not cracking, the lid seems securely attached as do the wheels. It does tip over when rolling it out to the street if I hit a chug hole so be watchful of that because it’s big and heavy to lift back to upright position for me. It was an ordeal to get as a large shipping company had to call and make an appointment and a straight truck 18 wheeler had to back down my subdivision for delivery and I had to be home to receive it. I thought I’d just come home and it would be sitting in the driveway (after all it’s a trash can that I will be rolling out to the driveway every trash day lol), but even with all the hoopla in getting it here I really do like it and I’m glad I purchased it. With an attached step to open lid and a step bar to lean it back on easy roll tires it is just what I needed with my physical limitations. At an empty weight of about 30 pounds I no longer worry about my trash can ending up in the street or the lake when we have windy or or my days, it stays put! Plus I no longer have to struggle with multiple trash cans as this is big and roomy enough to hold everything I need it to.

Our studio curbside garbage can got hit & dragged by a truck, needed a new one for next trash pickup, easy of use & more substantial just in case it happens again. This one checked all the boxes including being delivered on time. Actually planning to also purchase the 32 gallon in the future for my house.👍

Using a 32 gallon version for my personal garbage in the garage. Is very well thought out and has a lot of cool features they don't mention. For example, when I stretched a 33 gallon garbage bag around the rim I was pleased to discover there are little hooks beneath the rim to secure the bag even better. The lid seals as tight as the lift-off kind and disengages if you want to bend it all the way backwards out of sight. Is the Ferrari of garbage cans -- for both price and quality.

I hate, hate, HATE touching the trash can lid while I am cooking. Disgusting. Nasty. You get the picture.This is a BIG 32 gallon (not quart, not liter - gallon) trash can with a foot pedal to lift the lid hands-free. It works great so far. This trash can is the best value I has been able to find across many internet sites. It is Rubbermaid - and it is built tough, including a very hefty metal trash lid lifting mechanism. It comes in four colors - grey, navy blue, a very bright canary yellow, and red (must be for bio-hazardous waste, I guess). I chose grey as a neutral color. I wanted brown to go with my hardwood cabinets, but they don't come in brown. This item comes fully assembled in a VERY big box. I am VERY happy with this purchase. UPDATE DEC 2023 - Still working great. The lid opener still works. The wheels still work. I am very happy with the durability of this purchase.

This can is nice and large and very easy to move from yard to curb. It holds a lot and that’s what I neededThe only negative is that they came dirty inside and out; however, a hose down cleaned it up fastAnd, I really appreciate the delivery. I wasn’t home and they put them inside gate. Great can

I purchased this product last August. Yesterday I had my trash picked up and when I went to return the item to my garage I found the front part that can be used for truck pick up was torn apart and ready to fall off. The construction is not as advertised but actually quite flimsy as was observed upon observing the damage incurred.

Works great i like the foot peddle. But expensive.

My wife wanted a large trash can that was foot operated, and this 50 Gal. beast is perfect. You can throw stuff away without having to raise the lid by hand. Saves on washing of hands while cooking and serving food to others. Excellent even for home use since it doesn't take up much space for its volume size.
