Just what I needed
I had a couple of other cheap Bluetooth OBD2 interfaces. This one I needed to be able to fully service my 2007 BMW R1200RT. It works perfectly for all those functions. I can clear codes, reset service intervals, run actuator tests and calibrations

Better than expected
Ordered this tool primarily to reset my service light after I changed my own oil/filter. It works perfectly. I downloaded the Motoscan app and watched a YouTube video on how to do it.

Works for my bmw k1200r with motoscan app
Got it to use with Motoscan app (android only) for my bmw k1200r. This is a great, must have tool for any bmw bike owner. I connected it to my Mustang and it works too. I just had to get a bmw adapter for 10 pin to OBS port.

Easy to use and worked perfectly
Works awesome on my 2019 BMW R1250GS Adventure along with the Motoscan app. It was exactly what I needed for performing diagnostics on my bike.

Connected it to the bike and went to the bluetooth settings on my Pixel 5a. Saw the UniCarScan, attempted to connect to it. It initially connected and prompted me for a PIN. I entered 1234 per the documentation but it wouldn'ty pair. Tried again. Wouldn't pair. Tried again. Wouldn't pair. Tried again, used 0000 for the PIN. Wouldn't pair. Tried again using 1234. Finally paired. A few seconds later the Bluetooth service on my phone shut off completely. Tried to reconnect it. No luck. "Forgot" the device and tried to re-pair. Nothing. Restarted the phone. Paired the device, started the motoscan app, and the bluetooth service on my phone shut off again. I've never had this happen with any other bluetooth device. This thing is clearly defective. However, it's also "currently unavailable". Returning to Amazon for a refund and getting something else.
