Might not need to calibrate
This works fine out of the box. Most of the instruction pamphlet, 3 pages of it, describes a cumbersome calibration process and calls for purified water. I suppose that is necessary for precise measurement, but for my hydroponics it was quick, easy and seems accurate and consistent right out of the box.

Accurate and Easy to Use
This digital pH meter is a must-have for anyone who needs precise pH readings. It’s easy to use, with a clear horizontal display and quick, accurate measurements. I’ve used it for my hydroponics setup, aquarium, and even my pool, and it works perfectly every time. The temperature reading feature is a great bonus. Highly recommended for both beginners and experts!

Accurate PH meter, good design and great support from seller
I'd buy ten of these before I'd buy another $100+ brand. My first one worked for about 3 months before it wouldn't calibrate properly and I notified the seller who immediately replaced it. Their service was timely and responsive. The device itself functions as intended with a clear LCD, auto off, etc. The inclusion of calibration packets is a huge plus.

Surviving the YinMik, How to keep your glass pH meter from breaking
Love this lost cost meter for pH testing, but make sure it's calibrated and heed my WARNING: the glass probe breaks if it dries out (that's why they include a dropper and sponge inside the cap). Keep the sponge wet with 3-4 drops of pH 4 buffer and store in a Ziploc to save it (reapply every few days). Also DO NOT DROP IT. These warnings are NOT IN THE MANUAL so ensure you follow them or your meter will break quickly and need to be replaced.

Don't make the same mistake I did
I have bought several PH meters over the years, yellow in color, Hint. My existing meter started to give erratic readings so I whipped out my new one same as the first one and calibrated it per instructions. Reading from the directions started the task. The directions are mostly clear, but implementing is another story. What a pain in the buttocks, I got so frustrated I axed my flatmate to assist to see if I was was a dimwit. She was having difficulty, but succeeded. Overall pain to calibrate so I bought this new one. What a difference, calibrated in minutes. I will try and update after use.

Accurate meter. Worked well out of the box, but I calibrated first just in case.
When I got this, I calibrated according to the spec sheet, and it works really precisely. Temperature monitor is really nice too.

Good choice
Affordable and at least reasonably accurate that depends on your needs and how closely you really monitor your PH

Great if it doesn't randomly stop working.
Calibrating this and keeping it moist between uses is great. The fact that I can check the PH in all of my tanks in a couple minutes is a HUGE boon for me.However, I have gone through two of these eight months. The first lasted for about six months and was amazing, the second would not work after being calibrated. It kept saying 0.2 and would not change despite all efforts and research.I'm going to try something else this time. It's a great device when it works, but I've been without one for almost two months and I hate using my strips and master tester kit to determine pH.
