Truthfully, I bought this for my neighbours who are really kind people but aren't technically proficient. They had originally went to the Despot where their not-so-friendly associates sold them an opener that doesn't work.A simple looksie of their old remote and their receiver unit and this was exactly what was needed.In order to set the pins, you have to pry open the parts independently. Unfortunately, the case is stuck on VERY well and you end up gouging the plastic so be aware to use a hard plastic pry tool instead of a flathead to separate the halves.Setting the switches and it worked 100% instantly. Great because my neighbours were down to their last opener and that one was falling apart. Now they have 2 new ones and a backup.

Simple to set up it’s a little on the cheap side of workmanship but works fantastic. That’s why it has five stars not the most sturdy built remote.

These are light weight.We like them.But, we have to wait for the gate to be fixed to try them.

I purchased these to replace the 35$ gate openers sold by the hoa for the community gate. They open equally as well. I like that they use a 9 volt battery instead of a specialty battery. However this makes the opener a lot bigger then I anticipated.

As soon as you push the button it comes off. I bought a pair and it happened to both of them.
