IMO, great quality , feels good in my hand and is easy to use, the flame can be adjusted to suit many different scenarios and although his " mini torch" is perfect for small jobs it is NOT a replacement for big map gas, torch jobs. I use it mostly for automotive purposes such as shrink wrapping wiring repairs and I've found it to be the perfect size, not too small, or too BIG either, since it's easy to get it into tight spaces. No more grabbing my big heat gun and trying to find a nearby AC outlet. I love this little guy. (my wife gave it some serious eye-balling when I opened the package, I could tell she would like to have one for her kitchen) the mini torch also comes with several plastic adapters so you are able to refill the torch using larger sized cans of butane which I found to be readily available and inexpensive. (W/M)I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little torch to my family or friends.. Getcha one if your looking for a nice little mini torch.

This torch is perfect for lighting cigars. The flame this torch provides is precise, burns hotter, and is instantly adjustable which makes it perfect for toasting the foot, lighting, and trimming. Due to the nature of the flame, all of these processes are much faster than with any regular pocketable torch lighter.Toasting: As the flame is precise and can be dialed down, toasting evenly happens quickly without seeming to carry too much heat into the body of the cigar.Lighting/Relighting: The side of the narrow flame burns as equally hot, so quickly gets this done. No real amount of contact is necessary. So you can light a cigar without pointing the flame directly at your face.Trimming: As the flame is narrow and very hot it cuts better and much more precisely than regular lighters in my experience. With the point of the flame, you can quickly cut through wrapper, binder, and fillers with ease; unlike a regular lighter which seems to burn with less heat and can scorch the binder more easily beyond where you would prefer. Trimming is much faster and cleaner with this torch.Filling: Messy. When it's full it sprays Butane all over the place. That's how you know it's full. I have two of these and they both do the same thing. It works so well for my application that I have made my peace with the messy filling issue.Adjustability: Perfect for the application. It puts out a small flame - smaller than pocket lighters - to a flame about two inches long. Softer flame (think Bic), to pinpoint savagery (which works great for cigars) and any mixture of the two by dialing the little black air regulator held in place by the spring on the barrel.Drawbacks: Filling, Messy. No window to gauge fuel, though this will light a lot of sticks... A LOT on a single fill. Not pocketable, but perfect to sit next to your favorite chair. I occasionally move the flame adjustment regulator, or it's moving by itself with use. But if the flame isn't burning like it used to, check that little black collet because it may have moved restricting air into the mix.Ease of use: Both of mine work flawlessly. After a while, I found I could turn the regulator on and off with my thumb and ignite the flame with one hand. The always-on feature until you turn it off, which I thought was going to be an issue, isn't. For the application of lighting cigars, it works better for me because I don't need to keep my thumb depressed as you do with a regular lighter and I can adjust the flame size on the fly with the use of my thumb.Besides its drawbacks, it's still a five-star lighter for the application I use it for. I certainly recommend it.

Great torch! Ive had it for almost a year and it still works great. And it came with a little insert explaining properly filling, not overfilling & bleeding the air out plus a little tool to do it. Just these 2 things are priceless. Its easy to use, well made & being able to switch between torch flame & lighter flame is great.

Adjustable flame mode - broad to fine is really nice. Sturdy construction and a nice selection of fill nozzels (didn't need them, but were nice to have if I did). I would have given five stars, but I feel the volume of gas needed to be releasing before it ignites was just a bit too high. Stays lit when adjusting down, just wish it would lite at a lower volume setting. 5 minute run time is more than enough to get most projects done (that was their statement for precautionary measures).

While the title of 'pure copper is 100% false (my best guess is brushed stainless steel with some sort of bronze plating, and chrome), it's still pretty great. Everything that you touch is metal. It's heavy for it's size and feels very high end. The flame is nice and consistant, doesn't flare up or go out, and the valve closes tightly. Plus I got free same day delivery. I highly recomend this torch!

It is nice and sturdy, so won't fall over. Clean burning and I can really adjust the flame from big torch to little cig lighter. Uses very little fuel and is so easy to fill. Only with it had a level for seeing how full it is. But I just fill it for a few seconds and it lasts a long time. Easy to one hand light it and can turn off flame with a finger. Great design and worth the money.
