I have a 2020 BMW 5 Series, the installation was very easy, took about 15 to 20 minutes to do it. The hardest part was to organize the wires so that i can put the panels back, but with a little bit of patience i was able to do it. I have installed dash cam's before, and it needed me to hide the wire under the trim and it never was this clean. Compared to those kind of dash cam's, this installation was a breeze. The video installation guide was helpful. The overall look of the dash cam on the car is great, it hides behind the mirror and is very non obtrusive. Both camera and the mirror work as expected after the installation. It came with a 64 gb memory card pre installed, i had to use the app to connect to the device. That went smooth as well, app is simple and straight forward. The quality of the video is very good and i am happy with product. I highly recommend this product.

Purchased this for a BMW 550I Xdrive. The fitment was excellent. Looks like its a part of the vehicles original trim. A bit tedious to install but in the end wasn't difficult. The only problem I have with this purchase is after doing some research on Fitmax's website. I could have purchased the same camera with a rear cam option. Here it is not offered. The problem going forward is you CAN NOT purchase a front cam and then later a rear. Per Fitmax they will not match up.

Overall good design, perfect integration, and functionality as advertised!Really would buy here again. Super responsive seller, all description is spot on.The video documentation is good but it takes a little finess to get the BMW covers back on but gentle and easy does make them snap in place. The actual installation of the supplied camera and parts is super easy. Make sure you tuck the wires away well so the do not cover the ventilation slots of the OEM covers or make it harder to snap them back on.Functionality is good and as detailed. Storage on 4k is good enough to have a 9h round trip on a loop recording. saving and auto saving on sensor trigger are all selectable option.Do not hesitate to buy from this good seller, shipping was faster than quoted even before the holidays.Recommend highly.

740e, 2018The good:Well designed, app works well, camera quality is good, once mounted it is well hidden behind the mirror, build quality is okay (looks pretty much as OEM), shipping time is great, well designedThe caveat - although this is well designed to match and there are good tutorials and even support available to help you with the mount, mounting it is not easy. It’s just BMW didn’t planned casual users to be able to do that. I recommend finding someone knowledgeable to help you with the install, simply because the brackets to detach/attach are tricky.Overall, happy with this and highly recommend. Managed to install it myself, took time (few hours). Works well so far.

The camera quality of this dashcam is comparable to other high end dash available in the market but is a little bit more cheaper. I love how it looks OEM and has that feel that its always been part of the car. Im not going to lie, it is a little bit hard to install if you have big hands. You may need help with someone who has small fingers. But once you get it installed it looks really good as it has that OEM feel to it.The customer support before and after purchase is what really gives this a 5 star. Seller was always there to answers questions I have before and after buying it. Helped me out from start to finish making sure everything was working properly. If you guys are on the fence about buying this I can verify that you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product expecting great things, but after I received it (and before I actually installed it), I tried to find the App you need to actually use the product - and it was not in the Apple App Store. Yes - I tried following the QR code in the documentation, and the result was "App not found". Yes - I searched the Apple App Store for it - and there was no App found. I'm sure they had an App at some point - maybe it was being updated - but shame on Fitcamx for allowing even several days (or however many days) of the App to be missing from the App Store. I returned it, and bought a different dash cam from another vendor.

The media could not be loaded.  Took a chance on this dash cam for my 540i G30 BMW and i'm extremely glad I did. This cam was made perfectly for this car speficially as well as a few other BMWs and blends perfectly. It looks like it came with the car and you cannot tell it was added out. Install was very straight forward and was completed within minutes. This quality is extremely high and you can easily view the plates on other vehicles. This was a great buy, especially for the price paid. Highly recommend this DashCam!

Camera assembly is relatively easy, there is a bit of struggle to get the new extended cables to fit under the rearview mirror assembly but it is in fact doable, and nothing out of this world, but do expect to lose around 1 to 1.5 hours to get everything snug, but their video is pretty self explanatory. Camera can't be seen almost from the outside as it looks very OEM. No cables trailing through anywhere, everything connects and stays within the rear mirror assembly.Video quality seems decent, its not up there with proper 4k but it is good 1440p at least. Built in Micro SD card is a 64gb one so plenty of room and there is a an easy side access to remove it and delete old footage if needed, you can also connect via Wifi to check live view take pictures or delete old clips, but for what it seems this will stop the recording while you are doing it. App could be slightly better with more customization but still decent product.

Excellent product, easy to install, 1 hour tops. Look totally factory OEM, and integrates with the car wiring effortlessly.My only tiny issue was the sticker to cover the sensor hole (my car doesn’t have that sensor) has a white rectangle to cover this hole. I didn’t realise that this white part needs to be removed (it’s like a sticker within a sticker) to reveal a nice shiny black “fake sensor” to fill the unused hole.I messaged the customer service via their app and on a Saturday afternoon, I got a response within 3 minutes. They sent me the graphic (attached) to explain the tiny cosmetic issue.Top marks!Camera looks excellent and functions perfectly.It’s almost surprising to get such a good product and service these days.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Entsprechend der Anleitung eingebaut. Passgenauigkeit ist sehr gut.Den Stecker vom Y-Kabel, in welchem nun der Rückspiegel eingesteckt wird, konnte ich oben in den Dachhimmel schieben.Einbauzeit mit viel Vorsicht ca. 1h.Läuft seit einer Woche ohne Probleme.UPDATE: meine üblichen Touren sind 40 - 60 Minuten am Stück mit dem Auto, selten mehr.Erst nach einigen Wochen war mir daher aufgefallen, dass sich die Kamera nach einer unterschiedlichen Zeit von 45 - 90 Minuten selbst ausgeschaltet hat.Sie ließ sich stets problemlos manuell wieder starten. Allerdings macht das bei einer Dashcam wenig Sinn, da ich nicht ständig die Status-LED im Auge habe.Nach einem direkten Neustart lief dann die Aufnahme nur wenige Minuten oder auch mal eine halbe Stunde.Der Strom wird von der Dachbedieneinheit bezogen, alles Fest, auch kein Wackelkontakt feststellbar.Ein andere Speicherkarte oder auch ein Reset der Dashcam im Nenü der App brachte keine Abhilfe.Habe die Kamera nun ausgetauscht und werde das weiter beobachten.

Schnelle und gute Lieferung. Sehr gute Videohinweise für den Verbau der Dashcam. Leider bin ich etwas verwöhnt und habe nicht an die GPS Daten gedacht. Leider ist kein Anschluss vorhanden und auch nicht angedacht. Habe das Gerät aber weiter in Benutzung und sehr zufrieden. Bis auch das Loch vorn an der Blende. Da habe ich aber einen dunklen Aufkleber dran gesetzt. Fällt nicht mehr auf....
