Q: What is the best before date?

I can’t find any best before date on the package but I’ve made the rice (And I’m picky abt my rice!) and it’s excellent

Q: Is the dried rice meant to smell musty? I’m used to supermarket Basmati and while the grains are insanely long, it smells a bit odd when dry.

The smell is the reason Basmati rice is favoured for making Biriyani. Supermarket Basmati is of inferior quality as it has no fragrance!
