Got here fast and installed

It took me driving over a rock on a beach and destroying my oem pan to realize that these are serviceable every 50,000 miles, and I hit 100,000, yikes. It was a good fit, didn't have any issues!

Fits 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with the 4.0 Automatic Transmission

Looks to be the original type filter and gasket.Fits and didn’t leak after instal.Hardest part of the job was keeping track of the 3 different sized bolts for the filter.

Since installed with careful attention to the mating surfaces(scotch bright scrubbed and sprayed with fresh clear high temp paint on pan only), no leaks whatsoever! Better than expected!

Gasket Failed to Seal

The gasket failed to seal. I installed the gasket, torqued the transmission pan bolts according to service manual specification then, took my vehicle on a test drive and checked for leaks. Apparently, torquing caused the gasket to stretch and bulge outward between the pan bolts allowing fluid to seep out. The rubber gasket isn’t stiff/hard enough to maintain its shape between mating surfaces of the transmission and pan when torqued. Additionally, bolt holes in the gasket are much larger than the holes in the factory gasket I replaced. I’m replacing this gasket with a Nissan original part. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
