The Good: This is hands down an awesome machine for making snowcones and shaved ice plus I like how it shines and looks industrial. The Bad: Its really big like a kitchen aid mixer size. The Ugly: Instructions say 2"x2" max size cubes recommended. I read some people use pucks so I tried it. Bought 4" round plastic containers to make ice pucks. I can fit two in the hopper perfectly. Well? Switched it on and the machine was acting like bucking bronco. Holy cow. Read up some more and learned the ice needs to rest before shaving. Well? Machine just about bounced itself off the counter. Done with experimenting. Ice from icemaker works perfectly fine.

OK, to start, I was looking for a machine that made shaved ice for bingsoo NOT snowcones. THIS IS THE MACHINE! It makes perfect snow! Super fine shave for bingsoo! So many machines say they make finely shaven ice but don't. Bingsoo just isn't right with snowcone ice or even granules of any kind. The second thing is the quality! I've owned a restaurant and this machine reminds me of many pieces of equipment that are made for professional use. Heavy stainless steel, good construction, easy to clean. This unit does require a really good clean when you get it but that is to be expected of any piece of equipment like this. It's mostly machining dirt that you'll need to clean away. It came off easily with a paper towel and some bleach. Do be careful of the blades when you clean the inside.This is a fantastic product for the price and it makes perfect shaved ice for bingsoo!

Great for summertime parties or family get togethers. Powerful motor and great snow cone results. We also use it for alcoholic beverages too.

What a joke this product is. Extremely poor quality. Packaging involves nailed on cardboard edges which are very difficult to remove and the nails can cut your hands. The product is filthy... covered in dirt and grime... black/gray dirty film ... greasy stuff. Construction is of poor quality and materials. Sharp burrs on edges. Skip weld gaps for contamination entrapment. The stainless steel has tooling marks on it—-scrapes and scuffs. It looks terrible. Safety films are nonsensical and peeling off. The product bears no indication of country of origin. I suspect this is made in ... a place with very low quality ,and health and safety, standards. This is a filthy product and unacceptable as a food grade device. I’d worry about consuming cancer causing weld shop filth off this thing. And it bears a European CE mark which is misleading because I think at best this device is only certified for noise level; certainly not for safety, quality, or whatever. I’m truly disappointed and returning this product as soon as possible. It ought to be illegal to sell this.

This is one incredible ice shaver. Not only does it power thru ice cubes with ease, its all stainless steel construction and powerful motor exude a high-quality build that justifies the price. Highly recommended!

I have a small shaved ice machine (light blue colored) labeled Avalanche. It makes great powdery snow, but is relatively slow. I wanted a faster machine.I liked the look of this WYZ device, but I couldn't get it to put out fine powdery snow even after adjusting the blades. It's a shame because I really wanted it to work, given the solid industrial construction. As others have said, the machine needs to be wiped down prior to use, but that wasn't really a significant issue. At the end of the day, it didn't suit my needs.I ended up buying the Snowie. That's a heck of a device.

The media could not be loaded. This Snow Come Machine has been great. I bought it for my son who’s had a tonsillectomy. I would highly recommend this product. I can say, if you want snow, you need to freeze a cup of ice. We are issuing solo cups. It shaves blocks of ice like snow. If you put crushed ice in it, you’ll get chunkier ice. Other reviews says theirs came in mail dirty. Mine was not dirty. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this machine. Yea it is big, but it specifically says it’s commercial grade. So expect it to take up counter space. I made a table specifically for the snow cone machine and all of our syrups. Highly recommend
