It's a pretty good camera
For the money it's a good camera to start out with the only thing that I had an issue with was the microphone you would have to add an extra microphone which is an extra added expense but overall it is a good camera and affordable

My phone is better
I got this to have a hard copy of pics after a pet died and photos disappeared. Picture is garbage 99% of the time.Pet literally sitting still and just before hitting the button, the screen blurs and refuses to focus EVERY TIME. I've taken 1 good pic out more than 10 attempts. This is NOT a good value for the money. It feels flimsy and reminds me of the something I'd use as a child. I wouldn't care about that if it took good pics but it doesn't sooooo.....Also I started out giving this 2 stars but writing it all out made me angry enough to drop another.
