Wish I had known before you get get glass lock and locks so much better than the plastic and you can use the dishes without the clip lids. the lids also have a steam vent to open if microwaving. Excellent product.

These containers are great, I love that they are glass so don't absorb colours or flavours from food. With a temperature range from -40 to +400 degrees they are very versatile, and can be used in the oven, microwave and freezer. They are the right size for a small single portion of a meal like pasta bake or lasagne. The instructions are very confusing as the listing information states that it is microwave safe without lid, next to a picture of someone putting it in to an oven, not a microwave! The lids actually have a microwave vent and the instructions also say "in the microwave, place the container CLOSED and the valve OPEN", which suggests you can actually put the lid in the microwave. I tested the lid in the microwave, and both lid and microwave were fine. I suspected someone mistranslated the instructions and it is meant to say "oven safe, without lid" which would make a lot more sense.

Great pair of glass containers, the perfect size for a lunchtime portion. Although they have a plastic lid the food itself isn't really in contact with it and you can remove the lid when microwaving.I've used them quite a bit already and have been putting them through the dishwasher after each use and they come up great, with no signs of any wear or fading.Had no leaks so far, the seal seems very good on them and the lid is held very securely, so no chance of it slipping off.

They look as shown in the listing.The base is thick glass and the lid is plastic, and the lid has a vent that you can open by lifting up a plastic flap. I would prefer these if there was not a vent although you can close it and it seals well.I am pleased with them and they feel sturdy and the plastic lid does provide a good leakproof seal.The size is accurately stated but although it states they hold 640ml that is only possible without putting a lid on and they hold about 620ml filling to the very top if you put the lid on.There is a washing pad included as shown which is a nice little extra.Overall worth getting as they feel robust.

This set of x2 glass food storage containers arrived in a simple cardboard board and were packaged with foam surrounding them and layers of plastic between the glass and plastic lids. This set also included a cleaning sponge stored within one of the boxes. Each of the containers have a capacity of 640ml and measures 12.5cm x 17cm in footprint with a height of 5.3cm and a slight taper. The glass containers are excellent quality and personally I prefer glass food containers as they don’t scuff or stain as easily as plastic.The thick glass is well finished and completely transparent so you can clearly see the contents. The material is BPA free so is safe to hold food and since it is made with borosilicate glass it is resistant to extreme temperatures so can be used in the oven and microwave as well as the freezer too, although don’t forget to remove the lid in the oven! I like that the elements are all dishwasher safe as well. The storage containers are great for food prepping, portioning food and storage of leftovers or fruit / vegetables, but considering they are made from glass I wouldn’t see them as a viable option for on the go (weight and risk of damaging the glass).The storage boxes have a bright green silicone ring on the lid to create an airtight seal and in combination with four small tab clips ensures a close tight-fitting seal against moisture to guarantee freshness.
