These bowls are so versatile!! I use them for so many different things, breakfast, lunch and dinner! Ideal to use in the microwave, also in my ninja to crispy my cheese up on my cottage pie! such good quality!! I highly recommend them

These glass dishes have a plastic clip on lid with a closeable vent - you open the vent when using in the microwave, lid and dish both can go in dishwasher, freezer safe, but only the dish is oven proof - all around brilliant lidded dishes.

I wouldn’t say these are really suitable for food prep as you wouldn’t really be able to fit a full meal in, maybe a small portion for lunch or a kids meal but not an adults portion for a complete meal. They seal really nicely though and feel completely airtight, with a slider to vent for reheating if you want.They wash easily and being glass, have a much nicer feel and I’m more confident when it comes to cleaning them than some of the cheaper plastic alternatives.They’re freezer, dishwasher and microwave safe too so really quite versatile in terms of use with whatever food you do choose to store in them

This set of x2 glass food storage containers arrived in a simple cardboard board and were packaged with foam surrounding them and layers of plastic between the glass and plastic lids. This set also included a cleaning sponge stored within one of the boxes. Each of the containers have a capacity of 520ml and measures 11cm x 11cm at the base with a height of 6.5cm and a slight taper. The glass containers are excellent quality and personally I prefer glass food containers as they don’t scuff or stain as easily as plastic.The thick glass is well finished and completely transparent so you can clearly see the contents. The material is BPA free so is safe to hold food and since it is made with borosilicate glass it is resistant to extreme temperatures so can be used in the oven and microwave as well as the freezer too, although don’t forget to remove the lid in the oven! I like that the elements are all dishwasher safe as well. The storage containers are great for food prepping, portioning food and storage of leftovers or fruit / vegetables, but considering they are made from glass I wouldn’t see them as a viable option for on the go (weight and risk of damaging the glass).The storage boxes have a black silicone ring on the lid to create an airtight seal and in combination with four small tab clips ensures a close tight-fitting seal against moisture to guarantee freshness. The lids also have a hidden ventilation hole which is covered with a silicone tab. This is for the microwave and I like that it prevents any accidental splatters which would require unnecessary cleaning. Priced at £13.99 at the time of reviewing, I think this set of glass food storage containers are good value for money and I can see them lasting a good amount of time.

At the top center, there is a valve covered by a black silicone cap during regular use. When heating the container in the microwave, it's necessary to open this valve to allow gases produced during heating to escape. I received the 2 520ml glass storage containers, and the first impressions were good. They are solid and substantial with a good fitting lid with 4 clasps. I prefer glass over plastics as I feel it is a healthier choice.I have found that these are very effective at keeping food/ingredients fresher for longer.They are dishwasher/microwave/freezer safe, which makes these a very useful addition to my kitchen.

I was unsure about these containers when I first got them as they are fairly small, but they have really become my go-to containers where cooking smaller quantities in the microwave - especially over Christmas.The glass bases are perfect for things like peas and sweetcorn, with the plastic lids being held on with clips but also having a steam vent built-in, so no worry about anything exploding. Being glass, they are also really good if I need to freeze the food too - making them very versatile.My only concern with these is down to value for money. The current pricing makes them quite expensive, but I am hopeful that they will outlast plastic containers and make them a better buy in the longer term.
