Easy to understand
This is quick small book but includes all the fundamentals. I purchased it for my daughter who is learning to play chess. Now I have to read so I can play with her. It will take half day to finish the whole book.

Good chess intro for absolute beginners
At first I found all the exclamation points off-putting, but after a while I figured he was mostly writing for a younger audience. Otherwise, as a novice chess player I have found this book very useful in explaining all the basics such as board setup, opening moves, tactics vs strategies and more. Having only played a handful of games, I already have a better understanding of my weaknesses and how to remedy them after reading this book. It's on Kindle Unlimited right now but well worth the purchase price.

For beginner
This book is intended for someone who is just starting their adventure with chess. As a total beginner, I can't judge the accuracy of the information, but it seems to cover all the essential aspects—from openings and defense strategies to planning attacks.

Very little here
Very basic info, and filled with errors such as incorrect board numbering. Strategies mostly text platitudes. Mercifully short, kindle unlimited
