Just needs a slightly more snug fit
Our Bissell Pet Hair Eraser has been the most used and effective cleaning tool in our house for the past three years, so we want to do what it takes to ensure it stays working great. That means replacing the filter every three-ish months with a good quality filter. Good quality doesn’t have to mean name brand, though, so we’ve explored Amazon’s options for filter replacements and this option has been a good contender. These filters are sturdy and well made. None of the materials feel flimsy or easily permeable. They certainly get the job done. I previously used a set of filters rated as one of the top options on Amazon that were not nearly as high of quality as these. After using one of these for a couple of weeks, I’ve noticed better suction power (maybe not to the extent of when we first got the vacuum, but better than how it was with the old filters) and not as strong of an odor coming off the vacuum.I have one issue with these, though. They don’t fit as snugly as the Bissell brand so. They fit better than the other Amazon ones I precious had since they can at least generally stay in place to an extent and don’t feel like a balancing act when you’re trying to get the vacuum base back on after emptying the contents. However, they don’t hold on their own like the Bissell ones do. You certainly couldn’t flip the vacuum upside down without the filter dislodging. My issue with this is that it means the filter isn’t creating as strong of a seal from the rest of the vacuum as it could. That little bit of wiggle in the filter means that particles can get through the edges since it’s not suctioning to the sides. I don’t think it’s detrimental, but it’s something to keep in mind for your purchase.

Works as expected
I got these so I could have a spare to use when washing another and waiting for it to dry out. They work as expected. It's nice they included a small brush to clean the crevices.
