LG sound bar - affordable and acceptable performance.
Great product. Simple to set up. No amazing sound but better than the tv alone.

Great product! Great price!
Lovely compact soundbar! Good bass with the bass boost feature on the remote. Ideal for small spaces. If you’re looking for supersonic boom then this may not be for you, but if you need a good sound for streaming music and your tv in a tight space, then go for it. It’s got Bluetooth connectivity which I use instead of the optical. I recommend!

No complaints for the price
Very good for the pricerange. Needed to adjust the equaliser manually as there was no mid range. Bit different not having an a visual equaliser but once you notice the 3 led lights and how they function it is simple, balanced and of good quality. Surround sound have to be linked together via a single wire but work great. Overall bargain

Great sound and easy to set up
High quality, large room filling sound. Bought as companion to LG TV, the best connection to this is via HDMI which allows the TV to control volume and power off/on (optical also available).Woofer and rear speakers are WiFi connected - note rear speaker pair must be wired to the WIFi rear sound box. By powering up in the recommended order, set-up was automatic. On the TV we had to select sound bar only as the default kept the TV’s speakers on as well. Bluetooth connection allows audio streaming from other sources. We now have a simple to use audio-video system.

Excellent value and sound quality
Upgraded from a 8 year old LG SK1D and wow, what a difference. Night and day.The sound quality is excellent and really fills the room. At low volume, there is still great detail which is important for me due to having a young baby in a room nearby.I bought this after some intense research, and it was between this and a top level Samsung model. I was happy with my choice. Particularly compelling was the price, which was significantly cheaper than other similar soundbars. One great point is the design, it is very aesthetic and looks great next to my LG TV.I enjoy airplay, and it is super easy to play music from other devices. One final point, in the app, change the lights setting so that they go off after changing volume. They are quite bright and distracting when on all the time.

Good aesthetics but sound hit and miss
Purchased as some content and reviews online had noted this for dialogue clarity.Chose this over others in the price range due to the aesthetics of the wood ends to appease my partner so on that front has done the job. There is a general improvement to the sound compared to the TV (also LG) speakers however as much as there can be an improvement to dialogue on some programmes/films/channels/apps it is not comprehensive and still requires an element of over elevated volume to achieve. Some of the improvements come from the fact they are front firing speakers compared to the TVs down firing speakers. Also wall mounted under TV.There isn't specific setting for dialogue clarity so it's hit and miss changing the limited options. You can hear the difference, even if only marginally as you flick through them but as noted, none specially designed to improve dialogue, if there is, it's more by chance which is disappointing. The display (a set of limited LEDs) to identify what you are set on or changing when using remote is poor. A better system should have been thought of.When using the app, it automatically disconnects the TV when connecting via bluetooth which is a pain when you only want to use the app instead of the remote. Lack of thought there too.App has better function than the remote/led system to know what you are doing or setting it to visually but is still basic due to the limitations of the soundbar. There is an additional benefit of the app in that you can change the bass on the sub and the bass and treble on the other speakers. After a couple of adjustments I've made you can hear the marginal differences but even tweaking these are not enough to made a great deal of difference to dialogue clarity.I'd probably buy another soundbar that is more specicif to dialogue clarity at the sacrifice of the wood end aesthics and maybe use this for pc/Xbox connectivity. This is for the bedroom TV so no real need for the Bluetooth other than to connect for using as remote, but we did test out Spotify (which is low quality as it is) and it was reasonable for the purpose. Tried listening to some podcasts via the phone, tablet and Alexa connected to it and again it's ok but have to have it a little higher than you may want, especially at night for the dialogue clarity, which given the podcasts are already dialogue orientated that's not great thing to have to remark. What ever I am doing it seems the ideal volume for the overall time of day, program/channel etc is just that little too low, but the next notch up is too high. From what I have found the AI setting is the best of the options for dialogue clarity but it feels like the setting is constantly changing in the background on it as dialoque from one person in a scene can be clear but another not so and lower volume. It's like it's constantly moving the setting, not finding the right one and leaving it or relegate it to the spare room TV. To add, this is for an older LG TV probably circa 2019/20, our newer LG in the lounge is much better with sound so haven't needed additional sound options.

Fair price for an easy to set up, good bass and surround but poor mid range sound bar.
This is a nice quality item for the price, although it wasn't obvious that the rear speakers needed connecting together with a wire (included in the box and extremely long), although the subwoofer is wireless. Setup was simple, and although the included remote control responds well, it's easier to set up and customise via the LG Thinq smartphone app. If connected via HDMI/ARC to an LG smart TV, it can be turned on and off and volume can be changed via the TV remote, but there's around a 10 second delay and depending on the TV sound settings, some silence when starting up. I bought an optical cable and have it connected to that instead so that it's controlled separately from the TV (avoiding the delay).I've awarded 4 stars because I am a little disappointed with the lack of "forward facing" sound from the soundbar itself, and tone only allows for bass, mid and treble rather than a full EQ range, but the subwoofer and surround speakers sound awesome.Good overall.
