Travel Chess Set Magnetic Portable Folding Chess Board (Medium / 9.7 Inch)

I’m learning to play chess via an app and wanted a small board that I could physically play on. I wasn’t looking for fancy, just small.After reading reviews and looking at pictures of many travel sized boards, I settled on this one. It has magnetic pieces, folds up to be pocket sized, and feels pretty well made for what it is. The price was good as well. I like that on the box it’s got how each piece moves and has a little paper inside as well. That’s something I’m still trying to remember and having it on hand is convenient. I cut the picture off the box to keep with the board.The pieces move easily and stay on the board pretty well. The magnets are strong enough to keep them where you want them, but not so strong you struggle to move them.Maybe one day I’ll get a fancy board I can leave out all the time, but until then, this one is perfect for what I was looking for. It’s compact, easy to carry and store, and I look forward to playing on it.

Loved this cute travel chess board. It looks exactly as pictured and works seem less. Magnetic strength is just right and stays put as intended. Build quality is excellent. It light weight and well designed for travel. Storage capacity is just right to hold all pieces together when not in use. My kids loved playing chess while traveling

I am a Digital Nomad and travel full time and this was one of the best purchases i've made. It's a great product for the price and very easy to store/use. It folds in half and you store the pieces inside. We use this board at the bar, restaraunts, parks, wineries, etc. It's extremely durable and the pieces are magnetic, making it easy to use. Highly recommend

I love this tiny set. It's great for practicing moves and figuring out strategies. It's nexpensive, portable, magnetic, and the makers offere to replace lost pieces at no cost.

Great quality and good product design & size, but there’s a missing magnetic button in 1 of the pieces!

This is the perfect traveling companion for those long trips. Cheap enough for having three or four around. The pieces and the board are nice and light and the magnets keep the pieces attached to the surface. Recommended.

Perfect for traveling. The magnets were good quality. The pieces were big enough to move around the board. Perfect for novice chess players. All of the chess pieces fit in the board with out a lot of fiddling. I was afraid it would be a challenge to put the set away and I had no issues.

Love this my kids love to play chess with my husband so in between baseball games they can take some quiet time and it’s fun for all of them. Very sturdy and all pieces stay together due to magnetic pieces. Price was good and it’s cute for on the go!
