Still the best.
I have been a user of the original AAWireless adapter alongside my Android phone since it was introduced in 2022. It sits in my Range Rover Sport and apart from a sporadic connectivity glitch has worked faultlessly ever since. When it throws a wobbler, which hasn’t happened that often, for the most part it has quickly righted itself without need for intervention on my part. On the occasion when I needed help, the AAWireless customer support was first class.I have experimented with other manufacturers Android Auto wireless adapters but none of them compares to the AAWireless device in terms of functionality, performance and reliability. My adapter is still working perfectly today but I decided to upgrade to version TWO to take advantage of the improved design, functionality and Amazon special price (£43.19).Out of the box, its noticeably slimmer and more rounded than its predecessor, which doesn’t benefit me much as mine is tucked away in the centre armrest console, but its more pleasing design is definitely an improvement, especially if there is nowhere to hide it. The other obvious difference is the inclusion of an LED illuminated multi-function button which is used for pairing and switching between phones if you share the car with someone else. The colour of the LED changes according to the pairing status culminating in a solid blue when everything has connected successfully. (All of which is explained in the accompanying Installation Guide). The ability to be able to switch phones in my dual user car being a significant advantage over its predecessor.Setup in my vehicle was fairly straightforward but not as simple as the included Easy Setup Guide suggested, (Plug into your car – Connect your phone to the AAWireless – Enjoy Android Auto). I had to jump through a few more hoops, which was a bit more time consuming but not difficult.Operationally, it is identical to my previous adapter. Connection times for the phone to automatically pair with the car, at circa 20 seconds are identical to its predecessor. The AAWireless App and features are the same and like its predecessor it allows you to tweak various settings, troubleshoot the device and wirelessly update the software. It’s early days but pairing and connectivity have remained steadfast throughout. My main use of the adapter is being able to access Google Maps and Waze, instead of the built in Range Rover mapping and navigation, which it does faultlessly. The advantage being that the mapping features are far superior to the built-in vehicle mapping and I always have access to the latest maps and traffic information. At no cost unlike the crazy price that Land Rover charges to update the maps.In summary, this is more of an evolution if you are upgrading from the original AAWireless adapter but if you are purchasing for the first time, I can personally vouch for the fact that this and its predecessor are a must have if you have a vehicle that doesn’t have wireless Android Auto as standard and want to avoid messy cables trailing everywhere.

Amazing little gadget for your car
I’d been hearing about Bluetooth Android Auto connectors for a while but held off on buying one. I wanted something that was easy to set up, worked reliably, and didn’t clutter the limited space in the dashport under my radio. After some research, I came across what I believe is the second version of AA Wireless. I watched a few videos online, decided to give it a shot, and tested it thoroughly on a 4 hour round trip there and back.It performed flawlessly, sound quality stayed the same with no crashes or dropouts. Just be sure to have Bluetooth enabled so it can recognize your phone. The companion app also seems useful for firmware updates and extra settings.Overall, it’s absolutely worth the investment. I can now use Google Maps and other Android Auto features without worrying about cables or losing connection mid-drive.

Great little unit for wireless android auto, app make it very easy to setup.
I previously had a carlinkit a2a adapter, had this for 2 years and mostly worked great. Only annoying thing was occasionally it would drop out when driving and then need to reconnect. When I saw the AA Wireless Two had been released and was now in the uk, decided to get one and try it out. Its a nice small compact unit, the android app works well and has some nice options you can setup with the device. For example auto-standby can be enabled if your USB port never powers down. Firmware updates are dead easy due to the app. So far it hasnt dropped once, even in the spots my old one did. Sound quality is great, connects every time. Would def recommend.

Premium device that eliminates the need for cables.
It's a great item that avoids the need to physically plug the phone into the car (a 2018 Honda Civic). I have a black phone and interior and occasionally forgot to disconnect when I parked. Now it can stay in my pocket. Set-up was flawless but I'd recommend ensuring that it's sited somewhere visible as the lights are critical to understanding what it's doing. When you start the car, the lights go green, flashing green, then flashing blue when it's searching then solid blue when connected. It does take around 30 seconds or so for the cycle which can be a bit frustrating (I've knocked a star off just for this), but the connection has been rock solid once made and Waze, Google and Spotify all work well with no lag and no effect on sound quality. In fact it feels a little faster than the wired connection if anything. There are cheaper options out there, but technical reviewers seem to rate this device and it appears well made and worth the premium in my view.

Finally Android Auto in my 2018 Corsa after a year
Amazing Product,I have a Corsa E 2018 that had Wired android auto and apple car play, however any phone i plugged into the USB port was not working on the head unit and i gave up for about a year. Until my mum borrowed the car and her old Samsung A20 worked on my car. This got me investigating, and i tried everything, i assumed there was something wrong with the port so i took the head unit out of the dash and plugged various phones directly into the back with various adaptors to no avail. I even tried some cheap android auto wireless adaptors but these didn't work.I was ready to give up until i came across this and used their online compatibility check on their website, as they state that some early adopters of android auto had some funny ways of implementing it. After they said it would work i bought it thinking that i can always just return it if it doesn't work. After not working on the USB port accessible from the front of the dashboard i was a bit disheartened but trying to plug it directly into the back of the head unit made it work straight away, now i've finally got android auto in my car after a year of trying different work arounds. The speed is great, haven't had any drop outs and have only experienced 1 issue so far which was the head unit crashing, which i don't even know if this item was to blame so i'm not going to count that.Just make sure to pair your phone to it first otherwise it will not try to connect to your car
