Great low cost repeater.
Very easy to setup and use. Basically sets up just like a router and works well as a booster/ repeater. I also enjoy the mounting system is clip in so removing the unit to bring inside is quick and easy if needed. If you don’t need to bring your access point inside just to receive signal, this device can save you a lot of money by bringing the signal to your vehicle.

Great product
Works amazing! I operate an RV park with several guest. They solved a solution to where many of our guests were weren’t able to get Wi-Fi. Now there are no issues at all.

Good feature but low speed
It is perfect for my application. I just plug it to my tenant router and set different SSID and password. I can connect it to distant front and backyard cameras and many water leak sensors. This setting has big advantage which I don’t need to change all these devices when tenant router changed. Speed is limited, router Ethernet has over 300Mbps from my laptop but this range extender only support 100G Ethernet. Real range extender WIFI speed is hardly over 30Mbps. Front and backyard speed less than 10Mbps even signal level is 100%.

This device was a GODSEND!
I purchased this as a replacement for one that I received for testing from another company that I was very much let down with. Right from the get-go you can feel this is made with good quality materials designed for outdoors. It functioned exactly as I expected it to and has not stopped from the point that I installed this. Setup was easy and connectivity was just as easy as well, I purchased this to be able to extend my signal for some wireless outdoor cameras I have on my almost one acre property that are a little ways off from the broadcast signal of my Wi-Fi. The price was very comfortable and I can honestly say it's a value far supercedes it's price point because it comes with everything you need to operate it in multiple ways and I'm comfortable in saying that this device will continue to serve me here and hopefully long after it needs to be replaced with a newer version fron the same company.

Great access point/repeater option on larger properties.
I use one of this to connect from my shop to the router in the house (about 110 meters) and this provides excellent signal strength and coverage over 2.5-3 acres. Set up was pretty quick and easy. I have this at about 12' high.

Easy set up if you have just a bit of experience in installing repeaters.
I am a bit perplexed regarding the installation parameters on this device. It is marketed as an outdoor model, and I intend to use at as such, but the instructions indicate that it should not be exposed to humidity. Rain seems humid to me. It could be that the interface unit and power supply could be the items not to be exposed, and I can understand that as the interface module is totally open to water intrusion. There is a bit to be desired in translation between Chinese and English, but there again, I can speak no Chinese so they did a fair job, all things considered. The instructions indicate that the RJ 45 cable be inserted through the seal. This is not going to happen. The seal needs split. There is a fine line on the seal indication the correct place to cut it into the thru hole for the cable. The instructional video on YouTube indicates the seal is pre-split. Mine was not.Using the old school method of accessing the set up page (192.168.10.1) popped me directly in to the set up page. From there set up was quick and straight forward. I am only using mine as a repeater for security cameras so the set up was very simple.Time will tell how well this unit functions, but my initial observations are favorable.

Signal lacks horribly
Terrible signal quality. It was no stronger than my router hotspot inside of my house. I was able to walk away from my home and get a better signal from the router inside the house than this unit. Very disappointing based on the videos and other reviews. I used to Wi-Fi signal analyzer and didn't just go by number of bars on my Wi-Fi. It was quite clear from the analyzer that the signal strength was just degraded much faster than any other signal in or around my home

Setup was beyond me
I am fairly savvy when it comes to tech but this was beyond me to get working. I’m not sure how you get the Ethernet cable through the water tight seal without removing the Ethernet connector and then re crimping a connector after you’ve threaded it through the rubber gasket. Not a huge deal for me since I was setting it up under cover for my wood shop. I got it all set up and powered up. I just couldn’t figure out the network settings. There are some videos out there in how to do it but I was trying to do it from a Mac and not a pc and I don’t have a smartphone. It does seem like a nice piece of gear if you’re more tech savvy than me.
