I recently bought this dual laser distance measurer for some DIY projects around the house, and it has been excellent. The device is very straightforward to use, and the readings are consistently accurate, which makes measuring large rooms or awkward spaces much quicker than using a tape measure.The electronic level is a useful feature, especially when hanging shelves or pictures, and the Pythagorean function comes in handy for measuring distances indirectly without having to stretch across tricky areas. The range is impressive, covering up to 120m, so it’s more than enough for any home project.It feels solid in the hand, and the screen is clear and easy to read, even in brighter light. Overall a very capable laser measure that’s just as accurate as my expensive trade laser measure. The dual measure feature is useful, it has a very clear display and is fully featured. I’m not a fan of the interface that often requires 8 key presses to get back to single measurement mode.Here are some other pros and cons from testing.Pros:* Very accurate and within the quoted +/- 2mm accuracy @ <10m.* The display is crisp, clear and easy to read.* Memory mode and dual measure are both very useful.* Built in level/angle finder.* Has all the usual Pythagoras measurements.* Fairly decent instructions included.Cons:* Struggles to measure outside in bright light.* Plastic housing feels brittle and has no impact protection.* Changing between single and constant measurement mode requires you to cycle through every single mode each time you want to swap over, that’s 8 key presses.

Nothing works ok and it's does it job

I have previously tried a single laser device but not been totally sure, but this with a DUAL laser is a game changer, strongly recommend

worked well at first but after a day working with it i noticed issues with which laser would activate when changing between modes. then error 15 constantly. great device in theory but in practice it just doesn’t do what it is meant to. also, the screen adjusting with accelerometer means it can get very confusing and looking back through history is not as simple as some other models i have tried. may have just been a defective unit so have sent back for a refund.

This product has a unique feature unlike my previous one is that it comes in with 2 laser measurement systems on each end, each laser does a reasonable 60 meters which gives a total of 120m this is when standing in the middle measuring from both ends, the only problem with that is say I wanted to measure the distance between a house and a tree that are 120 meters apart then I'd have to stand 60 meters right in the middle line that goes between the two, this becomes impractical when there is an object (a house or a lamp post, or anything) in the middle somewhere preventing from measuring, it's unlike standing from the beginning and going all the way from the starting point until a good dot is found for measurement.It's a good tool, I found it useful when measuring from a high ceiling to the floor whereas I don't have to kneel and touch the ground to measure upwards, as the system can be placed from my standing position, one laser does down measure and the other does the upward one.What I found "Annoying" about this tool is that when I switch the system into "one laser" mode, I do measure, but then once done it switches back into the dual mode,. which meant more time in the field pressing more options and buttons than focussing on the job.What was "Hard to do" is attaching the carrier string to the unit, I tried my best to push the tiny string into the designated hole but that was not coming out from the other end, eventually I had to use a pin or a micro tweezers to pull the thing out.The plastics are not great, looked a little cheap, but it was compensated with a good colour OLED screen.The "Accuracy" is not 100%, I know measuring my office is 8.18 meters, the system was reading 8.08 instead, with longer distances it becomes much harder to read if standing in the middle due to the laser line becoming into a triangular reading instead.It works, I liked that it was USB chargeable, came in with a good manual and a cable, but due to the functionality I explained above (which I am sure it can be fixed with an update somewhere), and accuracy issues, given the price and compared with others on the market I don't think I can fully rely on this just yet.

I didn't realise how much of a time saver something like this would be until I started using it. It is so much easier than messing around with a tape measure, especially if you're measuring large spaces like full rooms.This specific measure allows you to either measure from one wall to the other, or you can hold it between the walls and it still measures from both sides.I've done a few comparisons where I'd measure the same distance with a physical tape measure and this laser measure and the difference between them are negligible. I'm really impressed!
