So as far as I know the cape does not come off but to be incredibly honest I have not taken him out of the package but from past experiences with these figures I would say no

It's honestly hard to tell even with a light shined on it. It looks a blackberry/black tone but if it is blue then it is a very dark blue tone. Sorry that I couldn't give a definitive answer.

This awesome DC Multiverse Batman is one of the coolest designs yet. The mass production of all toys has seen the change from cloth to plastic. It would be super cool if the cape was cloth. Make sure not to miss out on getting one before they're all gone. Good luck.
