Great Value for the price
Great interface, easy to setup, has amazing converters and the stock preamps are quite nice.

Awesome sounding pre-amps and flexability
Right away I could hear the difference in the sound quality of my vocals compared to my other audio interface. With the Discrete 4 the vocals were more clean, crisp and present. The other plus is the on board processors for effects that preserve your computers CPU because they are all handled by the interface itself. Customer support is great too. They helped me get everything set up and going. If you want the dynamic duo then get one of the Antelope Edge microphones that allows you emulate 18 classic microphones which can hear in real time while recording your vocals or other instruments.

Worth the money. The AFX packages are excellent for guitar and vocals.

make sure you deal with warranty right away
The unit is solid and heavy, feels like quality right out of the box, set-up was trouble free, features are amazing; I got the bundle with an Edge solo mic with modelling...it sounds amazing. My caveat to anyone looking at Antelope Audio is to make sure you deal with any warranty issues right away.I started having a hiss increasing in the noise floor in channel 3 & 4 after about 6 months, which didn't show up in mixes, so I lost track of it. 3 weeks past the end of the warranty, channel 3 cut out completely. With some fussing around with the modelling and preamp setting, I got channel 3 working, but the noise is now worse. Troubleshooting confirms that it is a hardware fault, but warranty has been denied by Antelope Audio. I should have called in about the noise issue earlier, but we deal with noise all the time, so I worked around it. The support tech I talked to was very good, though, I will say; the low mark for support is for the inflexibility of their policies. My story can be corroborated by the receipt and ser#, but to be denied 3 weeks over, seems like either the money is more important, or the customers don't really matter. $1500 for one year (or so) of nice clean service. My used Motu 896's were 20 years old when I sold them, and I never had a problem. There's my rant.I love the sound of the unit, and the mic modelling is excellent, at least as far as my experience goes. I just wish the support was...more. I'm not sure that I would recommend for this reason, and I am undecided as to whether I will support Antelope Audio further.
