No, it would not fall appart. I did just that. You will get to usable pieces. Cutting on the other hand will not be easy, if you requiring a streight line.

This works great for covering windows. Use magnets Spaced about 3 to 4 inches apart. The netting will stay on. Only if the car is still. It will not stay on if you’re driving.
