yes it does support monitor and packet injection, as it is a Realtek RTL8811AU chipset, you might have to install the specific drivers in some linux distro's

Q: I cant see the wifi adapter on Kali linux. I installed the drivers on mi host machine and still can’t find the wifi adapter on iwconfig.

If running Kali Linux from Virtual Box. Make sure is not running. Plug in the Adapter. Right click on the Kali Image and select Settings. GO to USB tab. Select USB 2.0. Click on the green + to add a USB. You should see Realtek 802.1.... WLAN Adapter. Select it and save. Unplug the adapter and start Kali Linux. After is started plug in the adapter.

For USB wireless adapter working with Raspberry Pi, we'd recommend you to get an AWUS036AC/EAC (normal power) or AWUS036ACH (long range, please pay attention to USB power supply from Raspvberry Pi) for best driver compatibility. I am using Kali Linux on Virtual Box. This Usb Wifi supports Monitor Mode & Packet Injection. Its range is good. It used to show so many networks far away from it. Its very good and working fine. It doesn't require any driver for Windows 10 & Kali Linux ( Virtual Box ). But I don't know that whether is supports 5GHz or not.
