Best trash can.. works perfectly

It looks better in the picture. Arrived scratched, however, customer service was very nice and send us a replacement right away. The plastic inside that holds the bags broke within a week. It's a little complicated to adjust the plastic bags in the containers, as we are used to. The wheels spin one directions only, so you have to pull it that direction always. Definitely way too expense for the quality. I wouldn't recommended it.

The media could not be loaded. I have several touchless cans but this one really doesn’t impress me. First it came dented and broken. I may still be able to use it. Next it’s not like you can just have anyone empty it for you. It can be complicated to get the top off as it appears this one may have been a return. It’s time consuming to switch out the bags with too many extra pieces involved… definitely over priced for what it is

I will give Amazon an attempt to correct this issue (even though not their fault) and should have read the reviews here as I received (today) this model and quickly noticed slight dents in the front right and side of this unit.I was going to forgo such but after further unboxing and beginning to set up, I noticed that there was no AC/DC adapter supplied but had an identical one from my previous I touch that lasted over a year but finally gave up automatically closing.As a note to all adapting this type of trash can, sensor activated units are susceptible to accumulation of particle deposits at the perimeter of the lid so I keep them clean to maximize life. This involves a periodic paper towel cleaning around the lid edges and using a flat head screwdriver or butter knife at the upper edge where the hinges are located.I don’t mind the extra cleaning efforts as long as I have the sensor touch less operation that I like and become accustomed to but my receipt and the volume of negative reviews suggest that if my replacement is not up to par, I will avoid this make, itouchless and go back to foot operated opening which is a shame as the technology thought of a hand wave, touchless operation is a brilliant concept for something like this.

So at first I was mad because I thought I had received the trash can w/o the adapter but apparently you can also use batteries- I knew where to find the compartment but the top of the trash can was sooo tight I could not open it for a good 30 minutes using hands and feet lol! but I finally got it to loosen up and changed the batteries and it works like a dream. Just don't put the lid on too tight again. I thought it would be taller like a 32 gallon but it's half the size like a 16 gallon- but either way I like it because it has wheels and buckets to help get the trash out... it's good for recycling purposes as you can't stuff too much in it or else you would not be able to get it out so it works really well for me anyhow. I was never a big recycler but now that I have the utility I definitely will do my part to help the environment. I actually found it a little expensive for my taste but compared to bed bath and beyond prices!1 it wasn't too shameful. Either way I like the stainless steel and the modern rectangular look and sensors and the guy on the video reviews just was a spaz - he made me nervous just seeing him make such an issue of the bucket frames to hold the trash bags in place.. I actually think he was frenetic and it's not that big of a deal just change them slowly and methodically not in a frantic rush!

My only problem is it’s not big enough. Basically it’s only for one person there’s three of us and it’s like I’m changing it every day but other than that I love it.

the positive aspects of the can were that it had wheels (very handy) and was shorter than others and fit well in a small space. However, those positive attributes were greatly eclipsed by major flaws.1. The worst problem was that the bags were supposed to be kept in place by a rectangular piece of plastic that was supposed to sit on the top of the bucket inside. It also had moveable pieces that were supposed to clamp the bag edge so that it would not fall down into the compartment. Neither one worked at all. First it was nearly impossible to put the bag edge in the "clamps". The edges of the frame that were supposed to hold the bag holder steady did not work and the frame and the bag were constantly falling into the bucket and spilling the contents into the bucket. the frame itself did not fit as the hinge for the bucket handle meant that the flimsy frame was bowed inward and could not support the bag. I spent way too much time and frustration replacing the bags, and way too much time pulling the trash bag back up and trying to put it back in the frame. The method of holding the bag up in the bucket was designed by st In any case, the entire design, from start to finish, was flawed and produced so much frustration that I would kick the can.2. The batteries to run the touch opening of the doors were inside and just above the trash. The battery cover was constantly opening by itself and dumping the batteries into the trash.3. Last but certainly not least the lids would randomly and constantly open and close, open and close. Enough to drive you crazy.Overall nothing about this product worked at all and I would suggest that if you are looking at buying, you would be better off keeping the trash bags on the floor and filling them when necessary, rather than spending money on this product.
