Q: Do you need to use this if plan to use a clay bar on your car? if so, do you clay bar first, an then hd cleanse or hd cleanse first?

I have been using the HD Cleanse for 3 years and always start with clay bar, then do HD cleanse (remove with Terry cloth) then do a good wipe with a microfiber towel to get all the dust particles from the HD cleanse off. After this I apply the estate glaze and finish with the carbon wax. It always looks amazing and holds up very well. The HD cleanse can be tough to get off so dont get too excited with how far you go before removing.

Q: Is this safe on a ceramic coated car?

It's designed to prepare the surface for the Zymol coating so it will likely remove or at least impede the protection of the ceramic coating. There are so many other products on the market that are ceramic coating safe. If sheen is what you're after but would like maintain a ceramic coat, then Chemical Guys Hydro Slick is extremely easy and outshines most over the counter products available. Only product I've used that provides more sheen and protection is Polish Angel.

Q: How many applications per bottle for tahoe and gmc truck?

Depending on the condition of the vehicles paint you should be able to do both vehicles once.

Q: Does this product do the same thing as using a clay bar and if so what are the advantages of using this instead of a clay bar.

No it does not work like a clay bar . It removes old wax and some contaminants but a clay bar does a far better job of removing imbedded contaminants . I would use this after I clayed the car as a final cleaner prior to waxing .
