The sturdy short adapter fits right into my iMac's USB-C port. I had my television set up to display my computer screen through a powered, multi-adapter hub, but bam. One day it stopped sending a signal to my tv. I've purchased two USB-C to HDMI adaptors and neither worked (both were multiple HDMI output) but plug and go, this one made it work again. Flawless picture quality, structurally sound, and no overheating! This is the way to go!

I use this cable to connect my phone to a monitor. Unfortunately the first cable I got had a faulty wire in it. This cable is so well made and sturdy that I couldn’t believe it failed. So I bought another one hoping it was just a glitch in the first one. So far it’s working perfectly. I’m glad to have found this connector. Mostly streaming live sports.

Works as expected

I like these. I have used them to add monitors to tablets and various other devices. When they work, they work great. I have had reliability issues with them. The QC isn't the greatest. I have ordered many of these over the years and have had several duds. However, once they are in place and working, I haven't had any fail.
