Q: How do I know when it is time to stop covering with this? I have been using for 2 days

I recommend following the directions on the packaging. There are 8 in the box so you could always remove one to see the results and apply another one if needed.

Q: Medical manuka honey has several ratings mgo 83-829 or umf 5+to 20+ highest number in both catagory to be best for wound healing. rating for pad?

Not sure what all the mumbojumbo crap at the beginning of the "?" Is.... but if you are needing wound care this worked very well for me. I had a 2" x1/4" burn/avulsion on my wrist from a stout wire wheel brush climbing in my glove with my arm. I'm very active and constantly working...one dressing lasted over three days and I wasn't favoring that arm. I like the fact that you can see most of what is going on in the wound. It will seam to be puffy, but that is osmosis and the body interacting with the honey. I will definitely purchase again and would like to see a range of sizes offered.

Q: How often should these be changed? (Open sore from peeling sunburn in this case)

My doctor has me change my honey guaze every 3 days. Use sterile saline water to loosen bandage/guaze if it seems stuck.
