I recently built my PC using the Fractal Design North case, and it’s easily the most beautiful case I’ve ever owned. The combination of natural wood accents with a minimalist metal frame is absolutely stunning—it looks more like furniture than a typical PC case!Pros:Aesthetic: The wood panelling adds a premium, unique look that blends perfectly into my workspace.Build Quality: Everything feels solid and well-made, from the frame to the fine mesh panels.Airflow: Excellent ventilation thanks to the mesh design and spacious interior—my temps have never been better.Easy to Work With: The modular design and cable management options made assembly a breeze.Roomy Interior: Plenty of space for large GPUs and additional cooling options.Cons:Slightly expensive, but you’re paying for the premium materials and design.A bit limited in terms of radiator size if you plan to use custom liquid cooling.Overall, this case is perfect for anyone who wants a high-performance PC build without sacrificing style. Great case, excellent cooling, looks amazing. It has decent cable management, it fits all my cables in a semi organised fashion but I definitely built in better cases when it comes to cable management. Easy to build in and fractal customer support is amazing. I lost the side fan bracket contacted customer support and they shipped out a replacement at no extra cost. Would highly reccomend

Just completed an ATX build in this case. Fractal have probably the widest style options for self builders who aren't looking for a 'fishtank' solution. The North XL is large but not massive and solidly put together. Coming from mid tower cases of the past this is a real pleasure to work on with loads of space around the board. I have the mesh option and airflow through this case is fantastic (no pun intended). There are multiple mounting points and under low stress the onboard fans - coupled with those on the CPU cooler - make this build quieter than my previous water cooled PC. Note that at or close to idle, the case fans didn't register rpm on my motherboard (MSI Z790 Tomahawk Max) but did once the fan speed increased. This isn't a fault with the fan header.Looks are as expected and this is a stand out design that wouldn't look out of place in a corporate setting - a real wolf in sheeps clothing. It's expensive but not excesively so given features and performance (though a 4th fan - mounted as a rear exhaust - would have been a nice inclusion).

I'll start by saying this is the best PC case I have ever owned. The style is completely unique with the beautiful wooden finish at the front, and the attention to detail second to none. The case is incredibly easy to assemble, with great cable storage (both in terms of space and organisation), and my components through the glass side panel look absolutely fantastic. Even removing the panels to do regular cleaning is easy thanks to the 'clip' mechanism for re-attaching the panels. This makes it much easier to line the panel(s) up with the groove, as opposed to other cases where you have to align and then slide the panel without letting it slip. The airflow on this case is great; my temperatures have been very cool, especially when idling. I added an exhaust fan as this case doesn't come with one. The two fans that are included on the front are very quiet yet powerful. As a side note, I would personally recommend that everyone has at least one exhaust fan regardless of the case/components. I don't begrudge Fractal for not including one, as I was planning on using my own LED fan anyway.My one and only complaint is that in SOME areas there seemed to be a lack of care during assembly. The screws have been overtightened and threaded on the side panels upon manufacture. The PSU casing paint chipped off slightly around my PSU. Now, these are only minor issues, but it did feel like it let the case down somewhat. I sent my feedback to Fractal and was pleased with their response. Hopefully these issues have been fixed now (I was an early adopter), but it would definitely not stop me from buying this case again.
