Nice idea, great for fun family time
The Obey the Clay is a nice idea for a fun family time. It is easy to play and the whole family can participate. My 7-year-old loves to join in. I like the eyes in the box, they give a good touch to items made.

Fun creative game
Backed by Aardman, Obey The Clay from Big Potato is an interesting take on the creative guessing game. Not only do you create whats on the card in clay but additional elements are added to the challenge. In the box you get a large single block of clay, some eyeballs, an egg timer, a set of cards and a rule set. The components are generally good quality though it would have been nice to include a resealable bag for the clay. The object of the game is for two teams to complete the tasks and challenges on the card within the allotted time. These challenges consist of crafting things from the supplied clay but with a twist. Teams can be almost any size and the more players you have the better.A great party game for all ages

A fun action based, time pressure twist, on the usual clay modelling games.
This clay modelling game from Big Potato has a fun twist over other clay based board games. In the box you get a single block of clay, a sound making egg timer the cards and two sets of plastic eyes. The first thing I noticed is while the main box is good quality and sturdy, the insert which holds the items is flimsy and rips easily. The second and bigger shortfall is the clay comes in a single use sealed plastic bag which once opened isn’t going to re-seal the clay. It would have been better if the clay came in a reusable plastic box. I’m not sure if the clay is special non drying but didn’t want to risk it drying out so wrapped it inside a small plastic food bag.The egg timer is good quality and makes a sound as the small grains fall so it acts as an audible and visual countdown. The game is for two or more people and you split into two teams, to start you need to place the timer horizontally and make sure an even amount of the sand is split between the two sides. The timer is flipped up and the team has to follow what’s on the card, once they complete this they flip the timer and the other team does the same, this continues until the time runs out and a point is scored. The pressure is on as by completing the task quickly the other team has less time, adding to the excitement of the game. The tasks are simple enough, but they add a twist, as not only do you need to model something, you also have to complete an action. The game is against the clock, so the fast pace makes it more fun and we had some questionable models being made to avoid the timer running out. Overall it’s an enjoyable game, the price at the time of reviewing is a little high given you don’t get a great deal in the box, and at this price I would have expected a resealable container for the clay and stronger inserts to store the items.
