Great value, good quality

The hose does fit on my existing bladders and mouth pieces. They are super long though. Too long to keep without cutting it, but not long enough to turn one into two. It's a little wasteful but does work. Typical installation, just heat it up with hot water or similar. No leak issues once attached. I almost want to give three stars, for the headache.

This fails to be useful for its advertised purpose, that being a hydration bladder hose. This is a soft floppy hose that can't be used as such. Any suction and it would collapse. Look elsewhere.

Compared to the hose I've had before, it's obvious the quality is different. The hoses aren't as stiff as the original -- the material is probably much inferior.

Bought this replacement hose for a Platypus hydration bladder that I've had for several years and purchasing accessories from Platypus is a no-go as the replacement hoses they provide are not compatible with their older bladders. With that said, this replacement hose does the job but the claim that it doesn't kink is not true. On my first few adventures, I noted that on occasion, the water flow when biting the bite valve wasn't always consistent. It took a few attempts to figure out what was going on but I found that the hose was kinking very close to where it connects with the bite valve. It wasn't a full kink as I could still get water from it but the flow was definitely limited and took some extra effort to get some sips of water. I've been able to adjust to it and am fine with this adjustment but this hose is very flexible, a little too flexible at that. I'm glad I added some extra length to this hose compared to the length of my old one. Had I not done this, the issues would likely have been more difficult to deal with.
