Handles All Our Devices with Ease!
We picked up the NETGEAR Nighthawk AX6 (RAX54S) on sale and couldn’t be happier with the upgrade. After years of dealing with spotty connections and high rental fees from our ISP’s router, we finally decided to invest in our own—and it’s made a world of difference.Setup was quick and straightforward, and we immediately noticed improved coverage throughout the entire house. With multiple people streaming, gaming, and working online at the same time, this router hasn’t missed a beat. No more buffering during movie nights or lag during video calls! It’s fast, reliable, and has already paid for itself just by ditching the monthly rental fees. Highly recommend this to any family looking for better performance and savings.

Most Excellent Router! Even better now after correcting my IP's Poorly Trained Tech's Mistake.
Update: 3.9.35My previous review of the NETGEAR Nighthawk RAXE 300 was not as accurate as it should have been to properly exhibit its awesome ability to blast Wi-Fi signals as they were meant to be. Unfortunately, my internet provider, provided me with a modem that was not the right one for my setup as explained to me by a recent service technician coming to my house for a different problem. Apparently, the modem I had at the time was wasting a significant amount of my bandwidth. He switched it out with the right one and I retested the wireless speeds with the Oolkla Internet Speed Test app. Now, it turns out my speeds are consistently in the 900's (see inset picture) instead of the low 700's (see the earlier posted inset picture compliments of my previously poorly trained IP tech). (My modem is a 1Gig download and 20 Mbps upload.) Since using the right modem, the NETGEAR RAXE 300, has no problem broadcasting and maintaining the faster speeds. There's no signal drop, just solid WIFI. I'm using the RAXE300 as an access point and it is connected to a NETGEAR RAXE600 with 100 feet of CAT 6 Ethernet cable and to now be getting almost maximum modem speeds at that distance is a tremendous tribute to NETGEAR's engineering. My highest recommendations are for this NETGEAR RAXE300 Router for reasonable cost, excellent design and unbelievable consistent range and speeds.A while back I had purchased a NETGEAR Nighthawk RAXE500 router because I couldn't get decent speeds at the other end of the house where I spend the majority of my time with previous routers and had even tried an extender without much improvement. Still not satisfied with the modest improvement with the RAXE500 because of too many barriers throughout the house, I made the decision to buy this NETGEAR RAXE300 and set it up as an Access Point after running one hundred feet of CAT 6e ethernet cable to connect the two. I called NETGEAR Tech Support just to make sure I had a clean install from the beginning and I'm really glad I did, they were excellent to work with and what was once only a dream, now is a reality because as you can see by the inset picture, I'm getting a solid 700 plus Wi-Fi download speeds from my 1 Gbps download, 20 Gbps upload modem at the other end of the house. The router was simple to set up, no hiccups from start to finish. I get consistent speeds all day long and the app you can download for your phone makes it easy to log on from anywhere to check on it or make changes. The router itself is a very cool looking piece of electronic wizardry and has 6 strategically placed antennas placed throughout the wings. I give this NETGEAR RAXE300 5 Stars for cool design, consistency of speeds, ease of setup and cost to emotional value.

Fast and strong
I got this router for my home office as a remote pharmacy employee. I have 1 GBPS fiber with a company supplied modem and in the 2 weeks I've had it there have been no faults in the router or interruptions to my service. It claims it's good for 3 bedrooms 25 devices and it's good for that. I have a 5 bedroom house with the router set up in the basement and it reaches up to the 2nd floor flawlessly with very minimal even negligible loss of connectivity. It was a breeze to setup with the app, only took 10 minutes start to finish! Strongly recommend this router especially with all the opportunity to increase the bandwidth in the future.

Works well
Simple set-up, I prefer the Web page router set up over the App, but that is a personla preference. Speeds are good, WiFi range is good.

Finally...
Just received this router and it works! Had an Asus RT-AX86U (what a kerfuffle that was - took me 3 days to try and set it up, delayed in shipping by a month, did not work using it's own 192.168.50.1, even went to Asus support, etc, finally had enough and sent it back.). Got the refund (thank you Amazon) and went hunting for another wireless router. Picked this one, because AB here doesn't use a smart phone, a smart phone app is out of the question. But this dang thing worked! During the setup even the firmware was updated. Follow the procedure on setting it up and boy howdy, did it work. Found everything. Setup new passwords for everything (too many spongers in the local neighborhood now). There are two things I don't like - one you have to agree with their stupid silly policy of "let us watch everything you do" and their Netgear armor program- I use my own and made sure to use the latest encyrption (wpa 3 plus MAC address filtering. Since one cannot disagree with their setup policy until one sends an email or letter to a different address, one needs to be aware of this. And the 2nd, I did tell it no to the Netgear Armor, but had to go back in to make sure no subscription was implemented. Couldn't figure out if it was, but filled out their request just the same. But I love this. 1gb on the 3 computers, 2 Roku devices, 2 iPads, 3 laptops, 3 smart phones (not my flip phone) - not a drop. So far, so good. If I get a year or so, no biggie as I plan to go to fiber in 1.5 years anyway. Upgraded from a Linksys E2500 (10/100) to this (10/100/1000). Wifi is good on all those iPads, laptops and smart phones. I have relatives from South Korea visiting and when they come, out comes the electronics.
