I recently purchased this beginner drone, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Ease of operation is one of its standout features. Even as a novice, I found the controls to be intuitive and user-friendly. The drone comes with a detailed manual in DJI's fly app that makes the setup process straightforward, and the learning curve is minimal.In terms of value for money, this drone is a fantastic investment. It offers a range of features typically found in more expensive models, such as a high-quality camera, stable flight performance, and durable build. The battery life is impressive arpund 30min, allowing for extended flight sessions without frequent recharges.Overall, I highly recommend this drone to anyone looking to get started with flying drones. Pros:This drone is amazing. I’ve had it for at least 2 or 3 weeks and it has flown as I hoped it would.The camera is great it takes amazing videos and photos.It’s quick and responsive when using the joysticks and releasing the joysticks.Obstacle avoidance feature is wonderful as well. I’ve come pretty close to things.I have not tested the range on this so I cannot comment on that.All of the extra features without the remote or the phone work great as well such as the follow me mode which I’ve used on the skateboard and it does keep up.I personally think it flies great at night and it takes great night photos and videos as well.I do also have a DJI phantom. I love that the flip is small enough, but not too small.Like anything with a propeller or prop it’s going to make noise however this drone is fairly quieter than mostCons:Battery. I will test this again, however when I tested it before I was lucky enough to get 16 to 20 minutes on the battery before it got to roughly around 30%. It could also just be me as well whereas I could be using different settings. I have yet to see 31 minutes of flight time per battery.At the moment, I honestly can’t think of anything else that is negative.

Owning the DJI Flip for over 2 months I have tested every feature and I impressed with the quality and design of the Flip.Being my first professional rc drone I was not the biggest expert when flying but with app and plenty of resources and tutorials for this drone I was never disappointed with my purchase.Flying without the remote:Being under 250 Grams I wasn’t expecting a lot of features but with smart video modes like “Boomerang” and “Rocket” this compact drone can be a mini personal photographer (you don’t need someone to control it for you because of it’s AI tracking features).Flying with a remote:When flying with the RCN3 controller this drone is just like any other DJI drone. With its front LiDar ,beginners won’t have to worry about crashing it. Also it’s high quality boasts 48 megapixel photos and 4K video at 60 frames per second in 10 bit color, so no worries on the camera’s quality.Other Specs:>31 minute battery time (really 28 mins max)>Carbon Fiber propeller guards (the rod part)>Under 250 grams (not as many laws as a drone over 250 grams but to fly recreationally you need to take the TRUST Test if you live in the USA)>Return to Home>Plenty of smart autonomous flying modes

The media could not be loaded. I chose the DJI Flip because for the price it does most of what you need to have fun. Great camera, great agility and good connectivity to satellites. I like the guarded propellers for beginners so if you do impact it will still fly. Others will destroy the propellers and you'll have to replace. The battery flight time doesn't seem like 31 minutes but for what it is it's definitely enjoyable. I'd reccomend buying two batteries. The controllers works good also. The upgraded controller would be better but for the price it's the best bang for the buck. It came with some extra accessories and all cables needed to fly and connect. It's under 250g of weight so you can fly recreational.

Fits in my hoodie pocket. While I still prefer my Mini 4 Pro, I love that I can just pocket this one without much worry, also love that I can take both drones with me on trips and use the same controller. While not as impressive when it comes to video quality, for quick shots it’s a great drone, though does not seem as stable as the mini or the air, it’s simple setup and ability to follow you really well makes it great, even if the battery doesn’t seem to reach anywhere near its stated life.

One of the best little drones I’ve seen and used, the price point is amazing, great battery life, the video quality is amazing and really clear especially for cinematic shots, the flight video is smooth no jitters or anything, you can set the maximum altitude, a lot of features, noise level is kinda loud but manageable and it has safety features built in however keep in mind that using it in sport mode disables those safety features but for normal and cinematic flying it’s safe as the sensors will halt the drone if it gets too ckose to any objects such as a house, a vehicle, fence etc! 5/5 stars!

The media could not be loaded. The DJI Flip is a fantastic drone. This is an excellent beginner drone and is a definite gateway drone into the DJI drone system of products. After having this drone for several weeks, I'm already dreaming about upgrading to a newer DJI drone. The drone flies well, is easy to learn, and is good for flying indoors due to the propeller guards built into the drone. I would definitely recommend this drone to anyone who is looking to get into flying drones. I do wish the drone had a built in remote ID feature.
