Great device. Worth every penny.
I was in the market for a retro device, and actually tried many others before landing on this one. This comes loaded with a wealth of games and is very easy to add more or remove those that are unwanted. The operating system is straightforward and easy to use, and there are even third party operating systems available for full customization. It fits decently in my hands, and feels very sturdy. Functions perfectly and runs all of the installed games with out any issue. The price point is amazing, as similar devices run for a lot more. All in all would definitely recent this product if you are in the market for a retro device.

Great Device!!
The TrimUI Smart Pro is an excellent handheld, especially at its price point. I love that it combines a 5" screen with a Linux-based OS—something I spent a lot of time researching, and honestly, there aren’t many devices that offer this combo. For those mentioning the lack of preloaded games: while it does come with a few, it’s really designed for you to add your own ROMs which are everywhere online. I personally really like the CrossMix menu system, and there are some great resources out there to help you get everything set up.If you're diving into CrossMix, there is a guide on github that is top-notch.The guide is super detailed—it walks you through everything, from the ROM versions you need to how to use all the OS features. Really well done.I decided to start fresh with a new SD card and went with a Samsung Pro Plus microSD (128GB), which was around $16.99. It’s definitely worth it—SD cards that come with these devices tend to be lower quality and can cause issues. A reliable card like the Samsung Pro Plus makes a big difference.Installing CrossMix OS is simple: just copy the files from the CrossMix download onto the card, then drop your ROMs into the correct folders. If you need extra help, there are plenty of YouTube videos and walkthroughs online. As for the device itself—I love the 5" bright display, lighted joysticks, the menu interface is slick, and overall it feels like a hidden gem at this price. That said, I’d love to see a 'TrimUI Smart Pro Ultra' someday, with a beefier processor and upgraded D-pad/joysticks. As it stands, it runs everything from Atari 2600 to some PSP games. All in all, it’s a great little device and I’d definitely recommend it.

Won't turn on after a month
I'm updating my review to a 1 star. My child played with the console with no issues for a month, but now that we are outside of the return window, the consol won't turn on at all. When plugged in, the 3 lights on bottom light up indicating that it is charging, but it will not turn on at all.I wasn't hopeful about the system after reading some of the reviews, but it was on my child's christmas wishlist so I went ahead and bought it. The graphics are great and there are a ton of games. It was ready to play straight out of the box.

Pretty awesome
This is kind of a difficult review; there's the device itself and then there's the SD card. The device itself is easily 4.5 stars imo. The SD card (content) is 3 stars, but can be modified very easily.TSP:+ Great size, screen and battery are similar to a large smart phone, 5+ hours of play, 16:9 format works great even for older games.+ Nice OS/UI (stock), well organized, very easy to find games. OS has upgrade options, but really not needed unless you're an advanced user looking for advanced features (FTP, OTA, portmaster, scraper, file manager, etc).+ Almost every game under station 2 is playable with good default button layout. I copied the SD card to a bigger faster one and pay station 1, station portable, dream, and gear mostly).- analog sticks are very low profile and low travel. I like their position below D pad and buttons; took a few hours to adjust to them. The have a nice rubberized top. (I might 3d print TPU stick extenders).- Trigger buttons (Lx/Rx) are little awkward at first. Too my a few hours to adjust, but I might still 3d print a trigger extender. (Don't know if this exists, but it will if not ;)- Size is good, but ergonomics aren't great because the back is flat. I think some people add grips, but I'll just deal.SD card:+ Not a bad start; I cloned it to a bigger better card, extend the size to the full card, and just added my own.- covers most true retro (pre-95) games. Extensive collections for the old stuff.- lacking in tindo, but I wasn't looking for kid stuff, so meh- only about a dozen each station 1 and portable. These are bigger files, so makes sense.

My childhood in my pocket.
I love having a small pocketable gaming device with me. If your buying it to get games you played on small screen originally its fine. Even thought the screen is excellent it feels weird playing Dreamcast games on a tiny screen. Also you will get a LOT of games that server no purpose unless you read Japanese. I will need to go over how to install the games i want. All in all a great deal for the price, the device is well built and Im satisfied with the battery life. I would recommend getting a silicon cover for better grip.

STOPPED WORKING
The media could not be loaded. Had it for a while and it was fun while it lasted but now it does not turn on after sitting for maybe 2 months untouched. Easy to mod and feels pretty premium/good in my hands but sucks that it doesnt even work anymore i was looking forward to using it on a long road trip. Maybe itll continue to work if you constantly play on it or maybe i got a dud
