Perfect use for security
This item is really useful when protecting my house. It was easy to install, the lock works perfectly and it looks amazing. Really made me feel more comfortable leaving the house. Very good purchase , worth very penny.

Nice quality, poor instructions
You know you're in trouble when the photo on the install manual for a lock says: "The picture is for reference only; please refer to the actual object".It's a shame the installation instructions are not good, as the lock itself seems to be high quality. After working on it for a while, I finally gave up. I've had a lot of experience installing various hardware, but this thing was too much.Their slogan is "Tough Tools, Half Price". I'd be happy to pay twice the price if I was able to install the lock.Edit: 4/3/2025 I decided to give it a try to install it but that was a mistake. The shortest screws provided, to attach the indoor and outdoor assemblies, were too long. After I shortened the screws, the thing still didn't work. What a waste of time!!

Read the instructions
How to install mini door knobs none quite like this though important thing to do is read the instructions there's a little arrow on the inside and needs to be pointing the right direction or things won't work out....... After I read the instructions went on easy peasy works like a charm everything I wanted and more

Hard to follow the programming for inputting the number code. Otherwise it is great! Love the ding chime when locking or opening! I got the black, and just love it. Looks great on my black door!

Defective
The coil provided is inefficient as per my locksmith. Couldn’t get it to work. Waste of money and time. Can’t recommend.

handle broke right off after less than 3 weeks of use

Not useful for public access door
Be careful not to buy the single sided code door lock since you will need to enter code every-time you open from outside. Description didn't say that. So if you have visitor to get in they will need to get your code. I even bought 2 but dissapointed. Vevor tech support says only double sided code has the capability of always open.
