I'm giving this Songmood Karaoke machine 5 TEMPORARY stars because I have yet to really use it. Right out of the box it is a first class beautiful piece of Chinese work. Every part, every dial, every gadget and gizmo exudes quality. HOWEVER, the instructions suck. The little instruction pamphlet is hard to read because the font is TINY and the grammar was written by obvious Chinese aliens, not that there's anything wrong with Chinese aliens. I searched the interweb for a video tutorial but only came up with shallow explanations of how well the machine works. I'm still struggling to find out how to use it. Otherwise, it sure looks good. If you actually read this review and have any suggestions about where to find a better tutorial please let me know.

Doesn't work out of the box. The system will not charge, and no sound is coming out of the speaker, and it makes a popping noise when I plug it in. The screen sucks. Poor equipment for the price.

The lyrics go faster than they should.

So much fun for the whole family! The touchscreen lyrics display and wireless mics make it super easy to use, and the sound quality is great. We’ve used it indoors and outdoors - it’s a hit at every gathering. Highly recommend for family fun or parties!

I love it, we as a family have lots of fun with it. And the monitor is super. I would recommend it. It’s a little bit pricey but it’s worth it. Glad to have purchased.
